PS; Why is resisting spells on the list? It has a bit different function on fighters than magicusers.
Resist for priests is purely a no go.
added resist cause i known 1 or 2 priests a while ago who thought it would be a good idea, i would never go for it though
healing does seem like it would be strongest, but it is also probably the hardest one to train...
who selected other and what other skill were you refferring to?
Well, since the crit hit is buggy anyway on Pangaea.
I think the best bet would be tactics to maximize your average hit.
Becuase you already get a bonus from mace, medi and the tactics will be the last one to maximize your hit.
Anatomy? it's too blind for its efficiency. I haven't see players without heightened anatomy/healing around but i bet this combo is a lot better than taking only anatomy or healing itself.
Its solely up to you though.
But if you ask me, go for tactics - average hit increase is still better than a blind critical chance, but it doesn't increase the actual critical hit, so it sucks i guess.
I think Connor chose meditation, healing and anatomy for heighten. Sounds pretty stupid now, but back in the days when the law tome was much stronger, choosing those skills wasn't so bad idea imo.

and its debateable if it does too much against kill
I have seen a single necro kill an entire group (5 people) instantaneously, all of them with high resists- it may cost a dragon to do this, but the reward is well worth it.
You also have to be pretty damned stupid to group around in close proximity to each other when a necro is around.
Resist is a notoriously difficult skill to train as heighten, it's not "macroable" like anatomy and healing are. At least with anatomy, healing and tactics are- you can enjoy your 10 second porno clips without worrying about being killed by a mob 30 tiles away.
