Being able to do damage would also be nice actually...Johnny Walac wrote:Religion Monk.

Anyhow, I like playing my monk the most.

Monks got no problem making damage in PvP. If your talking about PvM its all about religion.
Re: Best magicuser class;
If monks have trouble in dealing damage in pvm, i bet mages have even bigger problem.
Re: Best magicuser class;
I have a mage, druid and a monk and I'd say:
1) mage has easy time dealing damage in PvP, no idea about PvM...
2) druid has the freaking hardest time ever dealing direct damage in both PvP and PvM. Great support though for fighters.
3) monk has kind of hard time dealing damage in PvP, but that depends on the religion really. In PvM, you go summons and rites all the way, I guess somewhat depends on what religion you're in again.

monks are good for support and all, but are not good for damage..all you can do is summons. your spells are shit, and if you are going to use rites, it's either veritas or you're in law or nature for more summons..
but the monk itself, without those specific good rites, lacks in damage power

Re: Best magicuser class;
I think a 60 piety nature monk beats any PvM'er out there.
Ofcourse, if you know how.
I'll stick to mage or druid, still need more info 'bout druids to roll Havel over.
Mage is kinda boring.
Spell choice is too limited to be any use for the mage.
That's why players (and myself) find the mage boring, even if it's cheap/easy to train it.
