Re: During Quest / Staff Events
I originally made this poll, to lead up to another. No need any longer though, since such matters will be taken care of in future events. Though this poll was taken off-topic and trolled.

I believe my point is more than valid;Monad wrote:Is this topic going anywhere?
Unless a W,X,Y or Z religion made the quest then they should not be attending, why?
1. Is bad RP pratise.
2. Its unfair on non-religions due to loot and no-one "Leading" the storyline its a mad rush to the final boss and the big mobs to get them down for the magical cloths and shineys its almost likea competition between relgions… not an event for all.
3. Will increase Roleplay in a sense a quest can be easly writen just as much as an rp story on the forums... and we all know im a massive fan of removing the IG section on the forums. But my point here is if a religion writes and leads the quest then itll be much more of a group effort and not a competition.
Another point I’d personally like to see is no loot except special items to the quest.
Re: During Quest / Staff Events
Yes they should. Issue has been resolved and this topic is now obsolete.

yes they should attend and perform bad roleplay pratices... *thumbs up*Ares wrote:Yes they should. Issue has been resolved and this topic is now obsolete.
yes the should... party up and run ahead to get the clothes and shineys... * thumbs up*
no they shouldnt... they should be there if the need is that great or they wrote it but it seems the gm's have discussed it or came to the conclusion no aoe rituals and itll solve the issues all those that attend not in these groups face...according to that logic it fine for lets say tekstone and law should fight side by side to save humanity -_-
Re: During Quest / Staff Events
I always felt like, of course quests are for everyone, its just priests are so overpowered that they rule them most the time. I remember when Seraph made a quest in Britain where it had been taken over by Lords of the Abyss' and lots of plague, I used my bard and cured and healed everyone so very much. Then finally Iva and Andrew de'Lere showed up and raped the LOTA's all over Britain. Seraph ended up only giving a quest deed to the high piety priests (which was gay). Moral of the story? Priests are OP, but its not their fault, you still can't cut them out of quests. Something else must be figured out!

Re: During Quest / Staff Events
How about...
When it's a quest players come up with and have a back-story to it, you can think about it all as "in-character". When the staff do something nice for the players and it's just thrown together, don't dwell on the in-character stuff. -.-
Stop hijacking my thread and stay on topic, or please... don't post here. :S I don't want a flamewar or nonsense spam. It's about what you die most by. Nothing else should even be here.

Stop crying Biggs.. Quests are different. It's my opinion that most quests should be for everyone, some other GM might disagree and make a different quest. Most quests are just about having fun, and defeating some enemy that threatens everyone. RP is still enforced, but under temporary cooperation.Biggs wrote:yes they should attend and perform bad roleplay pratices... *thumbs up*Ares wrote:Yes they should. It's a huge annoyance with mass spells/rites, definitely. So we'll try and ban it, and enforce it severely. If you ban religions you ban the barbarians and all other non-casting classes as well. Or maybe just some religion classes? Then what if you get pissed that archers rock, should we ban them as well? Silly example I know, but to me it's a wrong path to take.
There have as well been and will be smaller quests tailormade for certain groups. The big ones are just for everyone.. In my humble opinion.
Edit: And if you have an idea for non-religions, contact me, I'll happily make it happen. Please drop the subject now.
Re: During Quest / Staff Events
no more quest deeds?then we don't need to blame religious ppl getting all the loot and rushing to the bosses.
ppl can join in for the FUN

Re: During Quest / Staff Events
Man quests deeds are the bomb! You don't ever get anything too useful just stuff added to a stockpile! To me I would say this thread was over q page ago rofl.
Re: During Quest / Staff Events
