Law cannot have red alts because....
Its abusable (wait till your buddys are offline then log or when theres so few youll know you dont have a challenge then your red robs without fear of a law guy showing up. Wich was in many peoples eyes abused just before the rule was reverted back 7-8 months back)
They are given the most powerful tome in pvp to combat thieves therefor must give 100% of their effort to catching them now player base is larger.
There are looting rules now as to when you could only rob money and jewels.
In regards to veritas i missed that update it seems my bad yet it wasnt always the way, still no point of this poll updates have been arranged for the future just hope they stay in the line it always was and should be. And we get a sexy merchant rite!
I have a question for darian or darion though whats grim aura like rumar has it is a decent rite for defending your temple? No where near solitude or gaurds but decent enough to keep enemys at bay by fighting back wich you never had before a decent defending rite that is.

Re: Which one is better?
Veritas is strictly a Priest rite basically. Monks fail 50% of the time(excluding Elya), and through talks I've realized why it should be that way...but it still sucks. So in my eyes of course, Veritas is limited.
Before Keening was changed, it insta-killed through walls nearly, unless you had 130+ strength. Yes I know it had a cap, but multiple people it was much more lethal than a Veritas wall. It certainly did need to be fixed, because Veritas did 8-10 damage through walls at the time.
If you want a real answer, ask the GM's which tome is the weakest.

Having experience in every single religion with 50 piety har har yes I was a hopper we all know it I would say Imperial has the weakest tome all together. BUT not they at least have solitude, so there is that.
Re: Which one is better?
No need to discuss about tomes as they're still being updated. Hold your whine and continue about Veritas/Keening.

Re: Which one is better?
Yeah, Keening did around 130 damage through walls... wait a minute, it did 65 at most, and was range dependent so that the further away the target, the less damage it did. Not disagreeing with the damage reduction, I don't think rites should do any damage at all through walls. Just check the facts.Vaux27 wrote:Veritas is strictly a Priest rite basically. Biggs, again, for the tenth thousand time, keening is resistance based. It only kills newbies, so great we are a newbie killer religion. Anyone with above 65 resistance won't feel more than scratch.
Biggs, Grim Aura is NOT a defensive ritual. Before a recent update it was actually more or less a useless ritual in PvP. It's nice in PvM but in PvP I don't even bother casting it. Now with the recent update I might consider casting it although it won't change anything... after all, during fights I never use any rituals or rites - if not counting paralyze in 1on1... which never happen as no one seems to have the balls to fight 1on1.'
What comes to the "Law cannot have red alts" and how you feel it as a disadvantage.... Did you ever stop to think for a single second that, wait, me and some other reds would LOVE to have a Nature/Law/Imperial character as well? You're not the only one suffering from the restriction. We are too. If I could have, I would have joined Law with Xaeron. However, I couldn't so I made him a Nox char. I have an almost legendary knight with no use simply because of the rules. I'd love to have him in a religion but I don't want to join Tekstone with him. Xaeron used to be a Law knight, turning to an Imperial knight... now because of rules I was between a choice - do nothing, or ignore the RP and join Nox. I didn't like the choice.

Re: Which one is better?
Kneeing is the worst piece of crap rite in the world straight up when comparing it to veritas. I have had it casted on by Lily when he was HP and no Darion, it barely does enough damage to phase you without a follow. But veritas has its follow up, squelch simple as that.
And Imperial can't go saying "oh we know that veritas is better"... I got so much ICQ whine going "ohhh kneeing is sooooo OP"....
Also, i haven't seen Kneeing damage go past 45 on me...

Re: Which one is better?
I would nerf keening. OP stuff. . Turn it into 10chant long casting ritual.
Re: Which one is better?
Mind if I ask how many chants keening takes? I straight up forgot.
