just don't take 85 skills? scribe don't have any 85 for example, it's not neccesary to have themPercy wrote:Then take away the tinkering and replace it with something useless?

Re: Carpenter Boost - Remove the newbie Boats
The reason i put Tinkering at 85% is that carpentery has this allready. If you noticed it most merchant classes has a 85% brother in one of the other merchant classes.James Blackburn wrote:Oomari wrote:Woodworker

At secondary (85%) Item Identification, Tinkering
At tertiary (65%) Detecting Hidden, Enticement, Forensic Evaluation, Resisting Spells, Tactics, Archery, Tracking, Wrestling, Camping
At penalty (40%) Animal Lore, Tailoring, Macefighting, Mining
Maximum strength: 120
Maximum intelligence: 90
Maximum dexterity: 120
Maximum combined stats (statcap): 250
Stats required to join: Str: 55, Dex: 40, Int: 30
Skill required to join: Lumberjacking 65%
Either of these skills are required as well: Bowcrafting 65%, Carpentry 65%
come on, really? carpenter/tinker/bowyer together? 85 tinkering + indy cloth can pretty much make everything, doesn't that sounds kinda em a bit too much for 1 class?
pretty much with this, i have no idea why people bother train tinkers then

Thats true, so maybe keep itemid alone in 85% and move Tinkering to 65%James Blackburn wrote:i know but noone of classes have 2 proffesions to 100 in it allready.

well that sounds better allready, tho i'm not sure does tinkering need to be there even, 65 skills are there pretty much to make it harder to heighten and thats allOomari wrote:Thats true, so maybe keep itemid alone in 85% and move Tinkering to 65%James Blackburn wrote:i know but noone of classes have 2 proffesions to 100 in it allready.

Re: Carpenter Boost - Remove the newbie Boats
Not true. 65 tinkering is very usefull for making tools etc.
Re: Carpenter Boost - Remove the newbie Boats
yup
but yeah i would agree with giving them 65 tinkering. i like having 65 tinkering on my alchemist
please merge these classes. we'll stop having the problems with carpenters, and we'll have enough "carpenters" for our demands
