Why?

Lack of activity.
Lack of player interaction.
Lack of interest to powergame 24/7 during summer.
Lack of quests.

It'd be nice to see people online etc...
But i think as far as activity goes, people logging in for an hour, macroing, then logging out doesn't go as far as being active for me...

Its called powerweek, right after a nasty timewarp when they give you 2x gains for a week.
