Its always a good idea to have this. But i mean i just use icq.... I know the reason for having them and i do like it, but sadly most things are handled OOC on my end....

Its just impossible for new players to buy vox book which forces us to use icq. Vox book is good idea but its just so easily avoided with easier method that allows OOC talking also.

Never tried it, but if what is said above is true the vox books should be cheaper to buy, close to free so that new players would learn to use them as their first method, ICQ as their second. Maybe even give one for free for each new player with a guide-book how it works. In fact, the guide book should include some other useful information too, such as the address to the these forums, the location of fields to harvest, the gate to newbie arena, the gate to the library where you can find useful information similar to the guide-book and how to page a counselor.

the problem I find is finding other people who have them I men I have 3 chars in one of my books and 1 in the other, I have no friends!!!

If anyone played Avalon you will remember the messenger pigeon(Cost was 3k and it would give you so many messages you could send then it would disappear.) Maybe willie could script them like that?
