I prefer Archer, it has got more Tactics and Poisoning than the Ranger.

Depends religion or none religion, piety with new updates is good and ranger also get full plate now.

Religion char definatly ranger

Non religion char archer as statcap and tatics.

I would say Archer as 85 poisoning with an indy cloth still may be able to beat out a Ranger, though with 40 piety, not sure.

Healing rite on yourself. That's how i won most of the priests on 1-1 using a repe-xbow. Yeah i was close to onehit every time the opponent hit me. But with the updates of nowadays. Ranger's can do more than that.

Plus, i'd suggest to try a combo of healing rite + good bow + poison ammonition.

You'll shit bricks to see the outcome ^^

I'd say it depends on many things. There's no clear answer. Generally I'd say Archer if non-religious, Ranger if religious.

Also Ranger for PvM and Archer for PvP, but that's a matter of taste. At least I prefer SMS over Fencing when hunting big.

As we can clearly see, the dev's are putting a lot of effort to balance out classes. Now some player have doupts between the ones to pick.

Archer, all, the way. And Boris u no need sms in PvM :3 us bow users got priests to beat down all the lame melee shit for us <3

Both baby! Although recently my group has abandoned me over stupid reasons that happened once *cough*

Fencing vs. SMS
Tactics vs. Full plates
+10 statscap vs. +5 str
??? vs. Tracking

There's no straight answer.
