Re: Dedicated Server improvement or not ?
better then before on 2d.I still wouldnt go anywhere near dragons though. I did some tinkering with my client to minimize the lag spikes.

From staff perspective a big improvement aswell. HW-wise it's pure gold.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
Re: Dedicated Server improvement or not ?
It is a major improvement as far as connection speed and stability as far as i can tell but i am still not smooth enough for PvP with EU folks or fighting the faster monsters.
But overall if the 3.xx client is still in production and will be an option later i will defenitly stick around, course i wont be quitting ether way will just have to play on merchents more.
Thanks Irming and rest of you guys for allowing us to test these new connections.

Re: Dedicated Server improvement or not ?
I'm more interested to know how non-EU players felt the improvments were, they were the ones afterall who genuinely needed 3D over the more localised bunch.
Re: Dedicated Server improvement or not ?
I haven't seen where this wasn't a improvement actually, there was at least a marginal speed increase and no lag spikes for every single player. If one were to say it's the exact same, it wouldn't be true as the server is much more stable. Irming did all he could to secure the server for us, and I appreciate every owner implementing our available options to take Pangaea to another level. That to me is a huge overall success.
Personally speaking I'm much faster and able to PvP with Euro-like speed. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm good, but I digress . European players will always have a step more than Americans(On a scale of 300-500 tiles 1-3 steps would be gained on my speed), but it's something we have to accept playing on a FREE European shard and game. Now it's time for us to step up if we want to play our favorite nostalgia game with optimal performance.
For the ones still having lag issues there are still options to improve their own speed. Forwarding their ports to the server, upgrade on hardware or ISP(easier with some complaints) and the possible client change.
