Aiding a known Thief

Post by Vaux27 »

A notice to all citizens,

It has come to my attention that, Nuryah, a tailor within these lands, has aided a known thief known as Larry Blackbulba. A pair of gloves with her exact stitching was found upon a deceased Mr. Blackbulba today, enough evidence to convince us of such an action. This thief is the ultimate coward, stealing from citizens around Felucca and storing his stolen items before meeting his end. The aiding of a known thief is a punishable offense and must be answered by Nuryah herself. If the accusations are true, she would officially become an enemy of the Imperium and not allowed within Her empire.

Allow me to defend myself of such acusations, but I do not answer for my customers actions.

Publicly announcing my name and associating it with common thieves is an huge treath to my business.

If the so called Imperium acts like this, judging before knowing the facts, and associating honest workers name with thieves just because you felt like, you should consider the way you act and behave, because trying to be the new Law without having any idea of honor and respect towards citizens, your Imperium has fell before it rise.

I hereby demand a public apology from the head priest of your Order himself, not to talk about a refund due to the harm this simple annoucement causes to my business.

Very well, then all you're smiths, tailors, alchemists, tamers and so on... You know where I'm going with this right?

You want to punish tailors for working now? Some day you'll have more enemies than you can count.

And a coward thief? Who would say! It's so much honorable to threat tailors... You keep impressing us with your amazingness.

The Imperium gathers all facts before making such announcements, watch your words carefully. You are not the victim here, you are the aiding and abetting criminal to that of a thief. You will answer to these crimes and be honest, or you will be banned from all of Her lands within the Imperium. We do not answer to your silly accusations, our empire stands alone from that of the white coats, and your punishment has nothing to do with that of them.

Below is the simple evidence given from the scene of the crime, your etchings were more than clear. You can not deny what is seen by many, that of making gloves of snooping quality is not ignorable.

Do you wish to carry on your besmirch of the Imperium, when it is you who is the guilty party today? You will receive no apology, and you are on the verge of a punishable death if you do not revoke your statements.

I do not revoke my statements.
I've crafted thousands of gloves during my career and I don't aid robbers or thieves.
Those gloves could be even stealed from my own chests since I never made any deal with the man you stated before, and also, thieves aren't the only ones who have use for snooping gloves, other professions require them aswell in order to become better in the eyes of their profession masters.

Therefore, this accusations aren't tolerable, as you do not hold any power, knowledge or ways to evaluate crime scenes, wich makes me to remind that few months ago you were aiding common robbers known as Birds of Prey and Black Taloon, by protecting them inside your "Imperium" main city, Moonglow, so on what basis do you rely in order to now defend the common citizens from thievery?

Your words fall on deaf ears and denying such actions will not be tolerated, the evidence is clear for everyone to see. Once more you are not the victim, the Order of Imperial has allowed you to recant your words more than once now, but you so choose to follow this innocent story.

Until further notice, you are hereby not allowed to enter the following cities without clearance from that of the Imperium Council: Moonglow, Jhelom, Minoc, Skara Brae, Nujel'm, Magincia and Ocllo.

If you are seen within these towns, you will be asked to leave only the first time and escorted out. If you do not comply with our rules you will be punished to death for aiding a known thief.

If you so wish to explain yourself, the Head Priest will hear your plea within Her capital city. A time would need to be organized before hand but until then, these preceding words are to be followed.

How tailor can be threaten for some scums doings?

If someone asks tailor to do something, ofcourse he does, but he aint responsible for what is done with crafted items. Situation is like blacksmith would be threated for a murder, becouse he made sword which gave the last hit. Its not crafters concern to think where his craftings is used, its users responsibility.

I don't have time for this jokes about judges and accusations.
Your head priest is welcome to visit me at my shop if he wishes to solve this problem you have arranged.
From now on I'll only talk about this matter with him personally, not with any random unscrupulous disciple.

In the eyes of the Imperium a person who enables another to commit a crime is just as guilty as the one who commits the crime. Larry Blackbulba is a wanted theif, not only in Imperial cities but also to my knowledge he is wanted in towns controled by the white coats aswell. Someone who tries to take from hard working citizens is someone that others should not do business with. Without the assistence of this tailor the known theif would not be able to steal from others and for that reason is why this temporary ban is being placed until such a time that Nuryah wishes to speak with Raoul and conclude this matter.

So basically al blacksmiths/tailors who craft weaponry/equipment used by exorsus nox members should be persecuted as well? Or any other guild/person who gets himself involved with atrocious acts for that matter?

Then all craftsmen are pretty much guilty of this accusation.
