Damsel in distress!

I await a knight in shining armor just outside the town of Cove.
My horse failed me, and I was struck unaware by the nearby orcs. They robbed me of my dear instruments and armor!
Perhaps this area - despite its reputation - still has some honorable men and women in it?

It seems some "knight in shining armor" already has my precious items in possession.
These lands sure are not friendly to newcomers.

I need my dear instruments back.
A minstrel can sing, but the delicate threads of the arcane and their manipulation require proper tools. The local law enforcement, nor anyone else for that matter, has given me their helping hand in the matter. I shall trust whom I must, even if it means that I must put my trust in these "Telborean" folk.
Perhaps YOU would like to join me, when I go to retrieve my dear instruments? The world is a harsh place, and a man by my side would be more than welcome.

I have met the Legatus, Thoeak Milner. To my surprise, my body is intact, as is my dignity. In fact, I am assured now that a majority of people are absolutely blind to his cause, misled by mere malicious words and vile rumors, as I was before today.
The Legatus and the Telborean empire have done more for me in an instant than any other major faction sworn to protect the weak has in these past weeks.
I speak now to reassure those who dwell in these good lands, that the Telboreans are not here to harm you at all, but to protect you from vile tyrants. All they ask is for you to open your eyes to the truth!
