Broken Silence

* The stars gazed down upon the dark untraveled path to Yew. The tree line was shadowed with forest spirits and sleepless animals, stretching far into the setting. The breeze was cool and crisp, consistently nagging at the face of a young knight. Ever so briskly he rode, towards the temple which he had done many times, except this time there was something different, something had changed...

Breathing with caution, the young knight mumbled to himself, *

“Yes, I hear you… are you sure this is what you want?”

“Is this what is best?”

* Her dear self was the answer to his thoughts and words. This voice within grew stronger, so neat and perfect her voice flourished his thoughts. The long perfect phrases portraying his choices and errors all combine. He was certain, and bound to correct his faith. For these corrections will always be certain within Rincoe, not just for now but forever, service until death…

The horse beneath him strode on and fast impeding the airs silence. This broken silence shone brighter than the brightest bunch of stars and striking to the bystander’s ear.

Closing in on the darkened dusted doors of the nearly abandoned temple residing in Yew, Rincoe threw off his helm and refreshed with a quick swig of a potion. Wrapping his weaponry in his pack, he ties his steed to one of the dirty posts at the entrance. In spirit he glided to the top of the two broadened staircases. He bowed in respect and continued, so slowly and in silence… There was no need for any sound here; the silence had already been broken with his entry.

His soul shone brighter than ever it once had… Minutes and hours passed as the tender young fighter stood motionless staring into the Holy Book of Gaea. Breaking his motions after quite sometime he takes a blank scroll from his pack and scribbles the following message… *

“Mother I say. A mother you are indeed, a mother you will always be. You mother, and are a mother, so I therefore know you will understand your own mother’s thoughts and choices. I do this not to betray you or your followers in any way, but I do this only to help us all, to help all that have been created, but more importantly, to protect a mother’s creation. I know you will understand my actions and purpose, as this script is only to respect and honour those creations as myself who may not understand.

Sincerely,
And always in good Heart and Fate,
Rincoe Elbrum.”

* He respectfully placed the note on the tomb. Then he Placed his neatly folded robe and cloak into a bag and set the bag directly beside the tomb. A few minutes more were spent at the altar in peace. This marriage had been false faith from the commencement. Faith, this is what led his soul on ward, and this faith was no longer false nor in any means ill- stated. He turned away and slowly walked down the stairs towards the exit.

Rincoe gently closed the temple door. Breaking the reigns off the mounting post, he rode off into the forest brighter and better than any man could have asked to be. The breeze had died down slightly with the sun soon beginning to rise. The trees continued on as always, but now with the addition of a staggering power to his senses. The epiphany of the day led him and his steed on, through and beyond the depths of even the thickest brushes of these lands.

After arriving to New Haven, he sat and had a nice lunch with his brothers in arms. Not staying too long he left soon after to feed his steed and continue on his way. On the opposite side of Britain he met the portal conjurer with some of his hard earned coins to make his way and final stride of the journey. *

“To Luna my dear friend…”

“Very well young one…”

* He couldn’t have blinked between the end of his sentence and the appearance of the portal. Nodding back, Rincoe walked through and arrived in the city of Luna.*
