By resolution of the senate, all land bounded by Hanse's Hotel on the west is claimed in the name of the people by the Clockmakers' Union. This includes the vast sand mines of the dry highlands and exclusive right to the fish and leviathan stocks of Gravewater lake. The Union also demands mineral rights to the Crystal fens, and is willing to relinquish claims to the crumbling continent in exchange, which shall serve as a neutral territory bounding Union and Imperial land.

This resolution passed 4-1 in the senate.

In return for the concessions, Imperial will be granted two seats in the Union senate.
