Want to join Armageddon Glory?

Post by Palma »

Resume:
-Tekstone was glorious, too glorious, their members began to grow greed and hunger for more and more power. Crin stepped down from the Headpriest position, and went to exile.
-Time passed and Crin all by himself kept satisfying his anger by hunting orcs, slaying monsters and once in a while hitting with an axe on trees. One day a new person entered his life, his name was Malek Goodheart.
-Malek was a nice person, an instrument player and an expert at calming the world around him.
-Together and by accident, they began to do incredible things together. They understood that Anger and Serenity were meant to meet. It was time to spread the word.
-The Armageddon Glory was founded.
-A neutral mercenary guild with only one objective, to maintain the balance of the world. They vowed to work for the weak side, should it be dark or light.
-Weak members began to apply
-With the hard training required many couldn't handle it
-Most of those who did, could not live with the constant battles and fear of going outside every day. The enemy count was growing larger by the hour.
-Needless to say that those who remained, were quickly consumed by hatred, by rudeness. Harvesting the anger Crin born to have, and the wise words of Malek.
-By the hand of those two, the Armageddon Glory was now unstoppable.
-The dedicated, trusted members, hand picked, respectable, patient yet rude, fought as one. The letters "A" and "G" now held more meaning to them then anything else in the world.
-To fights! To Battles! To wars! To Religion wars!
-Enemy after enemy, from discreet to world famous, to world hated. Day after day, battling, fighting, the group was more united than any other. The knowledge obtained was so great, no items could ever be considered a substitute.
-There was no need to talk any more. Everyone knew what to do, Armageddons were fighting as perfectly as a group of birds turning together in the sky.
-The name was now feared, respected and immortal. Their faces, marked by a thousand scars, each with a memory, each... with a lesson.

The Armageddon Glory is back.
All the old members have returned with the letters "A" and "G" burned in their chest.

For those of you who ask how you can join. It's simple. Challenge three members of the Armageddon Glory, not by pigeon, not by boards, not by any other means then meeting the three members in person. Win or loose, it doesn't matter, it matters that you show what we seek. Everything we want for our members is written above. Should we see you understand it, and should you show yourself worthy by the sword, and worthy by the heart, pure or unpure, we will accept you in the recruit. In there you will remain until we understand you are ready to have the letters carved in your flesh.

When you challenge an Armageddon Glory member with the intent of joining you are agreeing to the following terms of duel:
-The challenges will be with full loot. That includes magical cloths, armor, jewels, weapon, potions, bandages, everything. Take with you what you are ready to loose.
-The members that you challenge are up to you, of course we will take it in consideration.
-You can take whatever blesses from whoever you want, so can we.
-The challenge is not meant to be a fair duel, anything counts. So don't bother even speaking about it.
-Should you loose or be denied, we will use your head as an example for the list of those who failed. So if you are worried about your reputation, we suggest you to stay at home.
-Winning does not mean you are accepted. The guild will discuss what they've learned from your person, and decide your future. So should you win by skills, it does not mean you have what it takes to be an AG.

Good luck to all the candidates.

A man walks to the board and reads the note with the innitials AG flashing on it, he recognised them because he knew exactly who they wore. He's a former member from Order of Imperial, and fought them in countless battles, and altough they wore in different sides they allways respected eachother. He lurked a smile when he saw they wore giving a chance to everyone try to join their fantastic group. He hurried home, to grab his gear and went out looking for them, to have his chance to join them or be refused...no matter what he was determined to try it out!

Malek stepped outside his little island cabin to greet the sun. For years he had been living on this small island, studying ancient lore and prophecies in the books he had been collecting all his life all over the world. The prophecies had shown him that a time of great change was upon Britannia. The need was so great that he felt compelled to return to the world as an advisor. As usual, he acted on these instincts, accepting them as part of who he was. He realized that he was just a tool used by a secret diety and in the bigger scheme of events, his role was but small. But he also knew that even the smallest role could have a great impact on history. The balance was about to be disrupted heavilly, he could feel it like he could feel the tropical high noon sun burning on his cheeks. He sniffed the air and exhaled, sighing. Then he went back into his cabin.
"Now where did I put it," he mumbled to himself. He looked around his little storage room, searching the chaotic mess of years living in solitude. Finally he found it. His old backpack was covered with dust and cobwebs. He slapped it until he started coughing, then opened it and felt inside to, after some searching, produce an old rune.
He held it up in front of him and said, "Moonglow here I come!" Then he used his magic to recall to Aznar's Runekeep.
He was somewhat surprised to find that the place was still booming with activity, even though he knew that Aznar had left Britannia about the same time Malek had retreated himself to his little tropical island. He went to the city next, to read the announcement boards. What he saw there made him smile. Apparently Crin had taken it upon himself to revive their old mercenary guild. This couldn't have come at a better time, Malek knew. Britannia would find itself in need of their skilled services very soon. He wouldn't be rejoining his old friends though, for he had other matters to attend to. He was sure that Crin would manage just fine without his help. His attention right now was required in the inn, where he knew that his old friends Aznar and Gwydion were in for more than they had bargained for.
