many have asked me where i was, what i was doing, why i "abandoned" the war. so i shall tell you, this is not a short tale, it may well not even be an interesting story, but it is my story.
the world was a dark place, hit by troubling times, the Tekstone alliance had failed, the Imperials were getting more violent and more devious, friends were dieing, and i could do nothing to stop it. i left all i could to help the order, materials for foci or tomes, i even left my sigil keep intact for them. i left because i had too, in order to protect i could not stay, the world was a dark place, i could of gone the way of Iva and Alexis, and i probably would of.
so there we are leaving the temple for the last time heading off in a boat away from all i ever knew, i had no direction, i had no purpose, just a boat and the stretch of the vast sea ahead of me. 2 weeks into my journey i met a group of traveling merchants, they were heading towards Britain after 2 weeks on the sea my supplies had run dry i asked to trade, a fair trade gold for food, they refused and asked for my ship, these merchants would not be swayed they were unreasonable, i had dedicated my life to helping and protecting all, i light up even the darkest shadow, and these mere peasants couldn't even spare me a small amount of food! i felt the urge to strike them down send that flimsy barge they call a ship to the bottom of the sea and burn their bodies to ash and take their fowl food for myself, greater good wasn't it i can do far more with my life then they could ever do. in many ways that urge was the most terrifying thing i ever experienced i left as fast as i could no longer any intention of ever meeting someone again i just wanted to sail for ever alone a nomad, a hermit of the sea.
i survived by managing to learn to fish, the fish were few and often small, and they didn't taste very good either. but i was alive. whether or not that was a good thing i wasn't quite sure. Winchesters power was still strong in me i felt it, its possible thats the only thing that spurred me on to live. heh the power of light was slowing keeping me toward the path of darkness, hows that for irony. a month into the journey i saw a sight which i never believe i would see again, land. i had crossed the sea to a new world. there were ships on a dock, oh so many ships, more then i have ever seen before and many of them larger then any i had seen before one even bigger then the Britain docks! what strange magic could possibly keep that beast afloat!
I landed at an empty part of the docks, but lets just say these were not the friendliest people i had ever met. at least 15 soldiers surrounded my ship within minutes. they did not look nearly as strong as the Queens guard, i could easily defeat them with a few words of power, as swords and arrows and axes all aimed at my head. it would be within my right to defend my self, wouldn't it? a man approached me, not a soldier, he told me i was trespassing on his gods land as such i was to stand trial, i felt like i was back in Malas. i got off my boat and tried to explain to him that i was just a traveler with no ill intent towards him or his god. as soon as i got off 4 archers lit there arrows and shot my ship. most of the ship was burning within seconds. i could feel the rage i had stored for so long building, all that power i had held back for weeks surfacing. as i spoke peace those monsters chose to attack my property unprovoked!
alas duty calls, i must leave it there for now, i did say the story was not short.

Re: The Journey
at long last a free moment, for those who haven't collapsed of bordom yet lets continue
i will hold back no secret about what happenned next, i was angry oh so angry these soldiers were villians in my eyes and they shall be treated as such i cast Malleus at all the soldiers breaking bones and splintering shields the archers turned to fire i dodged the arrows with little effort and cast a holy hammer at each of their heads one was knocked into the water, the other broke his neck but the last two clearly weren't as strong, and Malleus bore a hole straight through the heads, turning back to the soldiers i saw three get up and come towards me swords held high, i drew my septor it broke through the swords, these people were so weak, i felt like a god, they had no chance against me, no chance! i quickly disposed of the guards one ended up with a broken back, he would be paralyzed for life, though at least his head was still attached to his body, that is more then can be said for the other two
i slowly turned my attention to the other man, the one who distracted me as they destroyed my ship he was making a cowardly retreat, i paralyzed him in his tracks slowly walking up to him, i could see the effect this had he would be stuck there for hours he had no way to recover these people were so so weak, a child could destroy this whole village if he wanted. with the tip of my septor i threw him to the floor falling with a hard crack, i could tell he wanted to scream for his life but he couldn't because his mouth was still frozen in place he was defencless the best kind of criminal i drew upon all the power i had to deliver one final malleus but something in me told me to stop, i dont know why and i dont know if i wanted to, but i did, i paralyzed him again, he would be stuck there for at least a day.
before i could go any further, lots of soldiers a hundred maybe more coming down the street, i was not afraid of these, not in the slightest this would be easier then fighting a bogling. these fools knew nothing of who they were fighting, I cast aura as i was enveloped in a wonderful blue glow the soldiers froze at once. another man stepped forward through that ramble they probably called an army. i could kill them all with but a few words and i probably should, but i wouldnt these have done nothing against me, not yet "you will come with me now!" aparently this man thought he could order me around, i told him i would go where i please and i wanted a ship to replaced the one they destroyed, and i turned my back and started heading towards the docks
although not so lucky, from somewhere i heard a man whisper the words vas flam, i immediatly cast Malleus in the direction of the sound, and my holy hammer met a fireball causing a bliding flash of light. quickly i ran through the flash towards the direction of the voice septor held high preparing to strike until i got hit in the head by a mages staff flying back the way i came then hit again this time in the back of the head i cast Veritas hoping that would have some effect it did the man froze in his tracks as pain seared through his body i cast malleus at him but he deflected it back with a whip of his staff. and i stared at the man he was so much stronger then any other here. he looked at me and just laughed "an officer? you must be lost" as he laughed again.
i believe i will leave it there again, i do enjoy leaving such stories, untold for a while, cleeshay though it is. however these are not stories i like to remember, and i am not proud of them at all. however the story must be told.
