The Longest Day

In the evening a boat returns to Moonglow, a man walks to his front door, waves goodnight to his fellow comrades. As he enters his home he begins to cough heavily, see his hand covered in blood. He walks toward a water barrel and he cleans his hands and face, removes his armour, changes into clean clothes. Applies clean bandages to his wounds. Sees that his dairy page is empty, he sits down and begins to write.

These past few days have been painful, battle for Trinsic was a complete failure, betrayed by those whom promise that they won't attack us and that they will remain neutral. Which turn out to be a pack of lies. This had happened once before and history repeats itself and yet they claim they were after those who cause death and disappear. If that was the case why did they attack us. it was their intentions to start a war. Not only that they attack our friend in arm The Ancient Powers, a close ally who has helped us on the battlefield.

The last memories I had of the battle was being carried away by Kerb and being dropped off into a boat bounded for Ocllo, I had said to him "running away from a enemy is against the way of the warrior." Kerb slap me and said we need to live so we can fight another day. After the lost, The Head Monk had given the order to move the wounded to Ocllo, but Ocllo became the next mass grave. The Orders of Law and Nature attacked Ocllo burning down buildings belong to Emperor subjects, our people, our blood. The lost of Trinsic and Ocllo caused so much pain, we were forced to retreat to Moonglow.

After I walked through the Hospital camp I saw all the pain and suffering caused by Order of Law and their ally Order of Nature. It made me sick, their fault idea of justice. They made many people suffer and yet they claim to be the protectors of peace, lies, their words were nothing but poison to the human heart.

The only justice which seems to be logical is ours or I would say mine and my older Brother. Which was "Slay Evil Immediately" which he created and now I follow and still follow this code of justice today. I do hate the enemy for holding false beliefs. No they have become corrupt, nothing but sub human, evil. Therefore this evil will be slayed.

These foul people attacked our holy town, again doing the same action as they did in Ocllo, the guards were called out, after the temple was under attack, myself and a few others were defending it. We were the victors this time, there was joy and also sorrow for the people we lost. But their attacks did not stop. They threaten to attack more of our cites if we did not end our alliance with Ancient Powers.. weak, it would be visa versa..

Secret orders were given on the second day. Which was "we are taking back Ocllo". The day came for us to re-capture the town, as I looked at the men in my landing boat, I saw some who were afraid and some not. This feeling seemed to be normal where as some didn't show any fear on their faces, hmm a soldier show fears when once he enters battle, but if one has entered many battles they have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Before we hit the docks I remembered sometime ago I wanted combat then my pervious assignment, which was to protect a noblemen's idiot son. A man who is more in love in his appears then anything else.. I remember him saying "Socks to me are like sex, tonnes of it about, and I never seem to get any". It was not just that. The assassins attempts made by Law. The idiot would add more grief by saying such things like " I must say, William, that was a close one, it was rather unexpected, why would anyone try to kill you?
I would reply saying that man was after your life and he would say that the people love him, well he was wrong. Always the same which I did not understand, how could anyone not understand when some say "death to noblemen's stupid son" and still say that the people love him.

I was glad when I was given a combat roll, it was if someone had open a window and let some fresh air in. I remember myself laughing at the memories of my last mission and I looked at the men in the landing craft and said to them" As Her once said: "Love thy neighbour as thyself, unless he's a White coat or a Green coat, in which case, kill the bastard!"

In hours Ocllo was retaken....

William looks and sees that the sun was coming up, he walks over to his bed and lays down, closes his eyes. Moments later he hears someone knocking on his door, he doesn't bother opening the door and say "A man is trying to sleep here." A guardsmen forces the door open. William looks at the guardsmen and says "What is it now?"

The Guardsmen replies to William and says he is needed at the Temple. William tires to fall asleep, but the Guard nudges him and says it's matter of life or death.. William signs and reply "very well, next time Ill cover my ears with candle wax, also other thing I am cutting your pay.. break my front would you." The guardsmen tries to say sorry, William tells him just to pay for the door....

As William enters the Temple a man walks up to him. "William, so you have returned? I have heard you and our Knight Commander took down the Head Priest of Nature" The man Grins. William nods and replies "we were just doing our duty, nothing all." The Man replies "hmm... Well you did a very good job. William have you heard what is going on the mainland?" William stares for a few seconds and scratches his head. "What is going on the mainland?" The man replies "brutality, there is mage and a necromancer hunt... they are being hunted and set on fire alive."

William receives a chill up his spine as he hears the words of an mad men actions. The man also added "Fellow Imperialist on the mainland who support us are also being executed." William eyes were in shock what was happening to people whom they would support or what magic style they would study. William replies "they will get what coming to them." The man places his right hand on William shoulder and says "They will, I must be off I believe our High Monk wishes to speak to you"

As William enters the altar room, a emissaries tell Maven Vaux that William has arrived. Maven Vaux: "William!" Vaux gestures to William to come over to him. William approach and bow his head. "you summon me High Monk." Maven Vaux: "yes William, please take a seat, we have much to talk about."
