Thoughts in the tavern

Post by Basil Brotheamus »

Basil arrived at the tavern of the Imperial temple area where Sauros was already waiting. Basil sat on the stool beside the fireplace and slightly surprised look on his face he asked:
- "Is it true what I asked in the letter?"

Sauros nodded:
- "The times have been a bit different lately in the Order."

Basil nodded back and turned his eyes towards the fireplace.
- "I don't think Engel would have appreciated this. Sacrificing the principles and faith only to be able to fight back better…"

Basil stood up from the stool and sat on the table, following a deep sigh he continued:
- "I mean, of course I haven't been here, I don't know how bad it was, but as far as I'm concerned, as far as I trust my own instincts, allying the Cult is never the answer for whatever question we tried to solve with it.
But then again.. that's just my personal opinion and I respect the brothers equally we have in the Order, but I don't necessarily respect all their decisions…"

- "I'm curious to know, what would you have done?", Sauros asked.

- "I can't speak for the past, but what I think we should start doing is just something together. Try to get the brotherhood feel like a brotherhood, where we can have our differences but we know we can rely and trust on each other. Maybe we should try to organize some feast with games and lot of food and drinks. Where our object is not to talk about politics but just have fun and try to get the brothers and sisters to know each other? What do you think?"
Flipping an empty bottle of Ale in this hands.

Sauros raised his fine glass of wine:
- "So let the celebrations begin, for we have been in the darkness for to long!"

- "For the brotherhood!"
…even the gambler seemed to get excited of that.
