It has been a long and exhausting journey. His return to these lands consisted of miles upon miles of limping along long and narrow paths packed down by wild animals and the odd orc warrior. His feet were swollen, his face was battered, and he walked as though he may collapse at any given moment...
Rincoe’s eyes felt sewn shut. His body was limp. He heard the wind picking up and the crackle of thunder in the distance. The rain had not yet started to fall although the air felt thick and moist. Rincoe put what remained of his energy towards opening his eyes. He was lying on his stomach and as he looked in front of him he saw that there was a larger path that appeared to be more heavily travelled. With all of his might, Rincoe moaned and grunted as he attempted to pick himself up from the Earth’s floor. As the pain seared through his arms he screamed while continuing to raise himself higher. Realizing that getting to his feet was not a possibility, he began crawling towards the road, dragging his legs that had never felt heavier behind him.
He wanted to stop and lay there; he was both mentally and physically exhausted yet he continued to crawl towards his last hope. The rain started to come down. Waterlogged and nearing what seemed to be certain death, Rincoe would not give in; he scratched and pulled at anything his hands could grab onto in order to continue moving towards the road which he was getting surprisingly closer to.
The thunder rumbled and the rain was now coming down in sheets. The ground became so muddy it was impossible to crawl any further. Rincoe flailed his limbs yet he failed to gain any forward movement in the process. His muscles were useless. He fell into an unconscious state, face down in the muddy grass within a few strides of the path.
The lighting split a tree nearby. Thunder rumbled through the forest as the rain continued to pour...
The next thing he remembers is waking up in the Healer’s hut in Britain bandaged and shivering with two men and a woman standing around the bed in which he laid...

Re: His last hope...
The Brom’s. Adelaide, the only daughter; Evangelis, the elder of the two siblings; and their bearded father, Distavirous. Rincoe could tell Adelaide had been worried to death; she was always worrying about others more than herself. Evan and his father stood facing away from him at the foot of the bed bickering nonsense back and forth at one another. Rincoe could feel Adelaide’s gentle touch through the piece of dampened cloth of which she was holding on what appeared to be a wound on the upper thigh of his right leg. Nobody had realized that he had awakened.
“Father, stop being so damned stubborn. You know those rates wouldn’t last a day in these lands.” quarrelled Evan.
“Ah nonsense, that’s cheaper than your overpriced crafts! At least I’m not afraid to get a little blood on my hands!” Distavirous quickly retorted.
Evangelis took a moment to gather himself and replied “They are my life, this is...”
“Yes yes, this is who you are. We’re well aware of your soft hands and feeble mind Evan. A little hard work would do your petty frame some good”
The bickering continued but was all muffled to Rincoe; he was still attempting to piece together his elongated journey. He heard something muttered about slaughtering innocent animals just as he felt a sudden jolt of pain through his right leg. Adelaide had jumped to her feet to end the argument when suddenly Rincoe released a piercing yelp which assembled the Broms’ attention at once.
“My boy! I knew you’d be back!” started Distavirous as Adelaide once again rushed back to Rincoe’s side.
“I’m so sorry. Did I hurt you?” Adelaide had grown into a young lady in the time Rincoe had been away; and a beautiful young lady at that.
“I’m so glad you’re alive. I’m so glad you’re here” she whispered in his ear.
“Good to see you awake old chap, now let’s get out of this mad cabin” said Evan as he turned for the door.
“Nice to see you again as well Evan” muttered Rincoe.
“Thanks Adelaide” he looked over to her with a smile. After a couple seconds he then realized his staring to be excessive in the presence of Mr. Brom.
“I’m glad to be back Distavirous.”

Re: His last hope...
Rincoe's last hope was to live a life free from the manipulations of others. Upholding freedom, love, success, and friendships were the utmost important aspects of his life now.
His previous life was ruled with utter confusion and voices which he was forced to either obey or turn to insanity. Rincoe the young knight even changed professions for these voices, became a priest to serve the voices that guided him away from Winchester, to Gaea, and then to the Imperial forces. As time wore on insanity crept deep within his mind, distorting his vision and perceptions of the real world. This insanity took him beyond the voices, to a point of almost no return where memories and his mind were the only company he had...
Rincoe had been missing over a year, losing his position amongst the Imperial guard. In this year he fought to find the sanity he had lost to the voices that stemmed from this insanity rooted within his mind. He was trying to find his purpose, his last hope.
Rincoe changed with the seasons slowly piecing himself back together. With time he came to the realization of the importance of many aspects throughout his life. He wanted there to be freedom; A land with freedom was a land that promoted love amongst its people. He wanted to be successful and to aid others to be successful. Helping others was very important to his being. And by helping other he would harbour friendships. Friends were always there for him as he was always there for his friends.

Re: His last hope...
Rincoe's first trip was to the altar where he immediately resigned his priesthood.
After a few days of harvesting crops to gain his strength back and repay the Brom's for their actions, Rincoe quickly decided that he wished to continue on as a warrior. He would fight for freedom, love, success, and friendship. His mind had been healed and his stumble into insanity was now just a memory.
Rincoe is staying at a few of his friends' homes at night while hunting during his days to repay them for their charities. He is growing much stronger, stronger than he has ever been. He works to improves his skills every chance he gets. But all of this is for himself.
In the evenings much of his time is being spent with Distavirous Brom's youngest, Adelaide. Rincoe had done a lot for Mr. Brom in the past and for those charities Mr. Brom insisted that he repay him in some way now that he and Evan had their own business, Brom & Company, running smoothly. Adelaide was a beautiful young lady and had always had a soft spot for Rincoe, as he had always had for her. Even though Mr. Brom had accepted their courting, Evan - Adelaide's older brother - had not yet warmed up to the situation. Evan spent the majority of his days kept to himself in the shop finessing his trade as a tailor and had recently become a Grandmaster according to Mr. Brom's preaching.
Time wore on and the nights with Adelaide continued to grow later and longer...
