The past of Telborea on the world of Pangaea

Years ago when the first Telboreans arrived on the new continent, they tried to extend their empire but were unsuccesful. What started as a noble cause was eventually reduced down to banditry. The looting and the pillaging went on unchecked for years. Under the command of Thoeak Milner the forces of Telborea were hated by the good citizens of the Pangaea and regularly hunted down. Seeing no other options to gain more power, Thoeak allied himself with the notorious Cult of Tekstone to gain more power to go toe-to-toe with the Order of Law. Dennac's servants took the Telboreans under their wing and started converting them to their cause and steering them even further off from their original course. Together their forces fought the Order of Law and Nature for years, spreading Dennac's word and destruction upon the citizens.
Years later the Emperor finally caught word that his servants had not only failed in their mission to establish a foothold for the Telboreans on the new lands, but had been reduced to common murderers and were now worshipping a God of pestilence. In his fury the Emperor ordered his mages to open a new portal to the distant lands and gathered a strong group of warriors, lead by the ambassador Zakath Kalnor to subdue his servants that had gone rogue. Many of the mages perished to keep the portal open for the band of warriors but their task had succeeded. The new force sought out the old one and after a short fight managed to gain the upper hand, but after the dust had landed and the prisoners rounded up, it was noticed that the leaders had escaped during the chaos of the battle. Most of the old force now in captivity, the phase two for their plan could now begin.
Thoeak's men were rigorously questioned and much was learned about the Pangaea, about the Gods and the people, and about their leaders and their habits. Plans were made on how to best start the conquest anew and how to fix the damages done on the Telborean reputation. The first step was to take control of the town of Skara Brae. The prisoners were quickly put into work to farm the fields and mine the mountains, these newly acquired materials were sold to the people, the wealth used to purchase housing and fields from Skara Brae. Slowly the loyalists worked on gaining the control of the town and the trust of the people, showing them what true Telboreans were like, law and order was upheld and criminals punished with harsh hand.
Skara Brae now under their control, precious metals were mined from the mountains nearby by the master smiths serving the Emperor, powerful potions were being brewed by the loyal alchemists and exquisite armors were sewn by the tailors, all in preparation for the conquests to come. To better prepare themselves for the wars to come, the Legio I Skara was formed where the citizens could sign up to form a militia to protect their town, trained under the masters Gabriel Darkbane and Ivan.
