Priests are just fine, they have 100 healing and resist. Thus means, they are better at surviving along their buffs. So that doesn't mean you need to have everything, Priests could, however, use less armor (full ringmails for example).
Probably an unpopular opinion. But I still think Rangers could use the extra 5 or 10 statcap, just in order for us to prise every last bit of potential out of the massive rework we have been given. Ranger is the ultimate hybrid class and the stats should reflect that.
On a less self-serving note. The problems faced by some classes now seem to be more about playability and enjoyment than strict pvp/pvm balance as they once were. To me the whole system seems to be much more fairly balanced. Religion obviously plays its part to the advantage of some classes, but looking at the system objectively we're a lot better off than we were. I think a good amount is in peoples perceptions off a class, and that classic 'grass is always greener' syndrome.
Basically the most essential skill is poisoning as all the bonuses are tied to it. It's super hard and we offered to make it easier, but no luck on that one. Generally the problem is that players don't have trained enough characters to experience Assassins properly. A combination of 65% healing and 100% poisoning beats 85% healing and 85% poisoning in my books. Otherwise Assassins don't belong to religions. Even less if you're blue. In such as case you will lose the element of surprise.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
What assassins need is a real boost to the assassinations itself. A bigger penalty to those succesfully assassinated, a real penalty not just some 24h curse. This will make it not only worth training an assassin, but worth spending the money and the time to kill your victim.
I guess the thing with assassins is that poisoning really isn't worth all the fuss. I've done some testing on my archer and 95 poisoning is nearly as good as 110. That's just wrong considering how expensive/hard the skill is to train.
