wasn't it 15 minutes for your char to disappear when logged out outside inn/house?

Correct. Safe/unsafe logout is irrelevant. When you hit logout, you're safe from macrochecks.

10, 15, 20. Ain't nobody got time for that.

It's clear you should be safe from your on actions, but at least some reports have been made recently, where a check was created after logging out. Logging out in a dungeon without hiding resulted in a monster spawning next to the player, attacking the player, tactics skill being used and being busted by a macro check. Of course the chances for all of these things to happen are slim to none, but if you're bad luck Brian anything's possible.

I think it's even more rare.
You have to login back just when the macrocheck ends (5 minutes later) so as to report that you were not offline when it happened.
I don't even think that this can be trapped scriptwise.

The only thing that can be done is to trigger it just when you are using the skill and not 5 minutes later.
This will at least remove the annoying macrochecks you get, when you PVP or PVM.

Having MC during PvM or PvP has happened probably to all of us, but it is truly rare so I dont think this needs to be changed.

This macrocheck shit needs to go away :P As does the super long logout wait outside of Inn/house, it does nothing but make this game more of a chore than an actual game. If I am in the middle of a dungeon and all of a sudden I got to go, why should I have to take all that time to clear the dungeon again on the way out? I don't know, you can't casually play this game, you got to be all in or nothing.

Then you log out in a dungeon. Been forever like this, i dont understand why people suddenly start to make big problems out of ordinary things in pangaea. Playerbase has gone really soft in past those years :o

If you want to look the brighter side of it, the shard is doing pretty well if the main problem is some ordinary things like logging out in dungeon or macrochecks happening.
I guess people just need to complain of something. 8-)

The shard is doing wonderful, but as things go these days I can no longer play. I am not as young as I was when the shard started and I can't play as if I were 18 anymore. I would think alot of us as adults wouldn't be able to play this as hardcore as it is.

I dont think that macrochecks should be removed.
But I fully agree with Kent Strider.
It is not a children oriented game.
Those who are 18, 20 or even 25 years old prefer to play the new eyecandy games.
As I see it, the playerbase is consisted of old gamers.
Ok, I can macro something during the day at my work, since I work on a pc.
But that's me.
Most of us do not have the time to be online for 10 - 12 or more hours a day, so as to make a good char.
When I started it, I was more than 12 hours online, playing.
Really playing. Not macroying.
Now, I will have to wait for my children to go to sleep if I want to play...
Let alone that most of the times I have to wait for my wife to sleep...

I don't know if there is a basis in this, but can it be considered so the game to become easier?
With double gains for example.
Or even, having double gain fests every weekend?
I think that this could attract more players also...
