Re: Quests
That is reassuring. Perhaps announcing these rules and guidelines before the beginning of a quest would help enforce them, and make public quests enjoyable for everyone. I for one hate to see people quit shards because some few lack respect for others, and the fact that we're here to have fun.
Meghana Arroway - Aspiring Bard and Songwriter
Lyon Cera - A Buccaneer's Den former Thug, with emphasis on "former"
Alastor Wormsent - A priest without a job, does that make him a hobo?

Re: Quests
No stealing/attacking others is the default rule unless the GM running the quest states otherwise (as per the rules section on the website).
Moving corpses seems like a pain in the ass, but Ivan's idea is totally doable and I see the value in that. At the very least making the mobs non-looting.

Re: Quests
Iktomi, here's a small headups of how i would suggest you to approach to activity.
Quest Ticket.
* Players may fill this blanked (required information only) for the staff and send it via PM.
* The time/place/mobs and all that information would be known for the staff already so all he needs to do is to find the time.

Re: Quests
Sort of, i have suggested this before but they ignored me - as always.
Basically, a list BY the GM's they need to begin a quest.
The players, who have ideas can fill that list (full quest) on paper and pass it over to the GM's to work on it.
Currently, you (GM's) are making a house from zero.
So it's like a 2-way thing;
1 - Players create quests (write them)
2 - GM's realize them.
Sounds easy enuff, no?

Re: Quests
There's been at least one quests that you personally have submitted that I've gone ahead and done work for you and then it was dropped by you. For example, there were a number of unique creatures created in the world for Nature people to go tame and bring back to a Nature "wilderness reserve".Zaradon wrote:Sort of, i have suggested this before but they ignored me - as always.

Just as an example of the fact that we are open to this. Obviously not everything submitted can be realized (based on time, fit with the rest of the narrative, etc.), but we are open to player-submitted ideas.
Yes (but also see above).Bloodtouch wrote:Can it be an ongoing quest?Ares wrote:Tadaa

Care to explain why?

You want him to explain your reasons for dropping the quest?Zaradon wrote:Iktomi wrote: There's been at least one quests that you personally have submitted that I've gone ahead and done work for you and then it was dropped by you.

Let's stay general. Yes, it can be an ongoing quest.. I personally love playermade quests. Coming up with ideas and planning the thing etc is 75% of the work, easy. Please, bring em on!
