i liked that movie. it's as if he was this badass super spy who knew all the secrets about discovering ppl and stuff.
then he gets to find the guy and he says "hey someone wrote this for me can you read it?" and the guy reads it and he's like "i told you i'd find you" and he beats the shit out of everyone
good action movie
"listen to me. they are going to take you. i want you to scream as much detail as you can about them when they come for you" or something like this.
shit it has got to be some fucked up shit, having ppl coming to kidnap you and your father telling you "they are going to take you"

Star Trek 2- One of the best movies I have ever seen.
Man of Steel- My new favorite Superman film, was pretty epic.
Despicable Me 2- Cute movie, the kid enjoyed it.
Iron Man 3- Was meh, better than the second but not the first.
Hangover 3- Not funny
Fast and the Furious 6- Fun if you shut your brain off.
I want to see Pacific Rim this weekend

Star Trek 2 - Rehashed tripe from a couple original series episodes and of course Wrath of Kahn with for some odd reason role reversal between Kirk and Spock, than to some strange nod to those who enjoyed the original cast, they throw Leonard Nimoy back in there playing "future Spock"...Better then the first from a couple years ago, but I loathed that one so it couldn't get any worse. Glad to see Benedict Cumberbatch in the movie however, he's an actor I enjoy watching in things, he made the movie a little more enjoyable.
Superman : Man of Steel - Pretty good, Henry Cavill has been a favorite of mine since I watched the Tudors, he did a pretty good job playing an American icon despite being British, I enjoyed the first bit on Krypton and even the interjected "flashbacks" with him growing up with Kevin Costner as his dad. I will admit however, I am not spoiled by the comic book version of these super heroes, any of them, so I go into seeing these movies as an outsider.
Iron Man 3 - Entertaining, I thought it was worth seeing, I don't really like when they throw in some "little kid" into the mix for no apparent reason, but despite this, I enjoyed it, the kid wasn't over the top which usually is the ruin of a movie or show. I enjoyed seeing James Badge Dale who I know from the Pacific in the movie, all in all worth seeing.
Those were the last three movies I saw in the theatres
I want to see Pacific Rim for one reason, the voice of GLaDOS pops up in it, probably for a minute or two, so I suspect I will wait to watch it when it comes out on DVD/BluRay.

I saw 'Oh Boy' on a date recently.
It's a German arty-kind of movie. Black and white, AMAZING jazzy soundtrack. The story/atmosphere kind of reminds me of Robert Musil's literary masterpiece 'The Man Without Qualities'.

Dude.. i can't wait to see this. I read the book a few years ago. Easily one of the best books I've ever read. This feat is just so amazing. These guys are heroes in my mind.Tyrion wrote:Kon Tiki
I just don't hope the movie over-dramitize or change the story too much. It's awesome as it is.

Saw The Wolverine past weekend, was actually impressed with it, though I knew who the bad guy was the entire time even though they tried to trick the audience.

Oh, I thought Wolverine was terrible, horribly written, un-logical and a great disappointment after the first one.
Watched it in a movie theatre and wanted to leave half-way through. For one, he was unable to heal, yet his knuckles always healed after using the claws even though he should have been in agonizing pain. After all, in the previous movie(s) he always said it hurt like hell to use the claws - even when he healed instantly. To be honest, his inability to heal didn't seem to stop him at all, barely even slowed him down no matter even if he was shot at. Also, for some reason the bullets didn't seem to pierce his breast other than the skin due to the adamantium skeleton, but a katana did easily in the latter scene. That plus dozen of other inlogical problems (His original claws growing back almost instantly even though in previous movie they didn't after his brother broke them etc.)
Oblivion on the other hand was a fine, even surprisingly good movie.
