Pangaea needs more socialism, a shard with a big middle class is the healthiest shard. A freeshard with poor, pantless "barons of their own life" and ultimately rich people hurts the economy and causes less consumption, causing merchants to lose customers since some cannot afford anything at all and some already have too much of it all.
