Dungeon Updates

Post by Dante »

I've reviewed Salos and hopefully improved it;

By improved I mean, made the difficulty scaling more gradual, improved progression of chest levels and made it mroe manageable for a smaller 1-3 man team.

The dungeon difficulty now is medium and If any of you guys want to try it out and give me feedback please do so.

There may be bugs with the levers (level one works etc) because I haven't changed anything related to those.

Wanted to say I think Salos is much improved - y'all should go check it out.

Take Dwarfish Orkanian weapons, don't die, and don't forget to leave feedback!

And thanks to the staff!

I wanted to inform that in Salos chest opened by golden key on lvl first contains the same amount of gold like chest on 3rd lvl which is kinda wierd.
I always thought that if lower into the dungeon then better.

Dungeon is easier than it used to be,
dungeon chests are easier than it used to be,
there is more space to fight (coz less mobs in lower lvl), which is realy good.

i think that is all what i can say :)

Nice thing about the dungeon is that:
-it isn't overly infested
-with a group of 5-6 it was fairly easy (which I suspect is expected)
-2 man team can do the dungeon with moderate effort
-possible to solo (much more difficult)

But...
-chests were not as challenging?

Personally I kinda like the dungeon, it wasn't filled with annoying spiders, mysterious levers there may be but I didn't have too much of a problem with the dungeon.

I can't speak for what Dante's done, but I believe the point was to make it fall more into the moderate-difficulty category, and hence it would make sense if some of the chests became less difficult.

Yes the chests were made easier due to the scaling level of the dungeon. It's not hyloth or deceit so don't expect very hard chests, however they are reasonable.

I'll take a look at the dungeon chests though - the levers were basically added because the teleporters were broken.

Thanks for the feedback!
