Actually the key is merging bowyers and carpenters, creating a new class: woodworker.
But as always, these things need to be talked through and introduced to the staff (preferably with good points, data and a crushing poll result).

pretty much thats just annoyance factor for tinkers, because tinkers allready with 85 lumber can chop every single tree on shardGlarundis wrote:i would leave it at 85 lumberjacking, since obviously bowyers understand more about wood than tinkers, since they with other materials. so for carpentry stuff with those high end woods you'd have to buy the logs or the customer would simply have to go to a bowyer

didn't know that, so i guess yeah, might aswell give it 100 lumberjacking. however i wonder if too many classes with 100 lumberjacking don't make harvesting some raw materials too quickly?

It still combines 2 markets into 1. You'll do business with arrows, staves, kindlings, decorative items, ships and whatnot. That's already quite a bunch compared to the current situation. With the current system it's like we have a blacksmith and another metal worker only crafts decorative items. come on, really? carpenter/tinker/bowyer together? 85 tinkering + indy cloth can pretty much make everything, doesn't that sounds kinda em a bit too much for 1 class?
pretty much with this, i have no idea why people bother train tinkers then
