Ancient blacksmith talking himself.
It's not efficient training a smith after 101+ anyway.
The rates are inhumane.

Lucky you, 200k is what I used for 103.1 -> 104.7
(I've had a 30 hours arms lore gain, but that seems reasonable compared to taste id, apparently)

Spending 500k iron just to render the quality chance from
below average/above average/normal/exe/elite
to>
normal/exe/elite
I dont see a point.
If it was exe/elite then yes sure, but i presume that exe/elite comes only with esunas bless (if even that...)

Well i dont know, but im guessing.
with 110 smithy you still get;
B. average/A. average/Normal/Exe/Elite
With 115 smithy you still get;
Normal/Exe/Elite
With 117 smithy you (should) still get;
Exe/Elite
But ofcourse, it's only assumptions and not worth the time/resources just for a tiny render.
If the % calculations would favor for better chance and render the quality far more, then it'd be far better.
For one example;
117 smithy;
30% -> exceptional
70% -> elite
115 smithy;
15% -> normal
35% -> exe
50% -> elite
But who knows? Maybe it does work like that? Does imperial have an ancient smith? No?
Well..
