Solitude only works in Britain and Moonglow anyway. And those cities really don't get sieged.Biggs wrote:If solitude isnt removed can you atleast make it so solitude is un usable if the city is seiged. [once rite is cast on seige stone solitude no longer works untill broken]

Re: Remove solitude.
well i'm thinking if one is guaranteed not to die to solitude if you just stat running away, then it should be fine for most ppl. it's a heavy dmg rite but it will serve to delay the impending attack. but 123 dmg in 4 chants is 30 dmg in 1 chant. i know of one rite which is 60dmg in 1 chant (lol just playing with you)Atlantis wrote:You can counter solitude yes, the moment i saw one guy taget me with solitude, I ran my ass off away and still got 123 damage... But I am with you. If you think other stuff is OP, lets sort it out!
i also agree with tehsquish. that's why i think we can let solitude stay, if altar corruption brings huge consequences to both the religion that corrupted the altar and the religion that got their altar corrupted. like this, enemy religions would dare face solitude and most like die, but should they pull it off, boy the other religion is f***ed for a few days/weeks
Re: Remove solitude.
I do not believe it should be removed from tomes or its instakilling ability either. Touch necro chants all you like IDK its dumb to have instakilling ability on the whole map, but if you attack the Base/Home city of X and Y religion [not saying tek and nature should get solitude here.] you should expect them to have emmense power there more so than the enemy.
Its like a football (soccer) team playing at home, they/you have spent alot of time there, you are very passionte about the ground/city and feel almost at home hense your ability to perform to your highest level is almost second nature while the enemy/away team do not have the same feeling of "comfort". Not forgetting the fact this is where the temples are [Britain and Moonglow] the most important structures known to your religous character. If you want to pvp and not face solitude simply.... dont go there, unless your prepared for what your enemys diety has enpowerd them with.

One day they might be seiged, and it would be a crying shame for a seige to be ruined by solitude. It is / should be a defensive rite is it not correct then that if a situation arises and your Base/Home city becomes seiged you are no longer defending but rather attacking to regain control?Jyrgen wrote:Solitude only works in Britain and Moonglow anyway. Re: Remove solitude.
Another way of putting what I said above is;
Your sitting on your sofa you look round your family is playing in the background talking having a laugh, your attention is then caught by the television "a masked mass killer is on the lose caution if you see this man do not approach him bla bla bla". You then hear a noise of a car pulling up on your drive way, you take a look out the window and see a man climbing out the car wearing a mask blood stains all over him, and his ran straight round the back of your house and is now in your back garden with an unlocked door between him and your family, who is playing blistfully unware. You know you have a loaded gun in your "pants", and serveral other weapons around the house such as knives, heavy blunt objects etc etc.
Do you:
A] Call the cops, and while you wait for them. god only knows.
B] Run to your kitchen draw to get a knife.
C] Pick up the nearest object and run at him screaming "get out! get away!"
or
D] Reach into your pants take the safety off and shoot to kill because his on your land and you know whats his going to do.
You have the home advantage this man can only use what he has with him, unless he overpowers you first then takes control of the loaded gun. You would definatly shoot to kill before the man turns the gun on your family.
The gun is solitude you have a home advantage where legally you can use said weapon to disable the enemy as long as his on your home turf, the moment you loose said control your now fighting for your rite to survive.
Before any of you say this is a game, you sure get pissy about it. Like I used to many years ago now I think bah its just fun you loose some you win some, I have set up pvp outside of solitude zones 1vs1 and lost don't see me saying afterwards you only won becuase your tomes OP. I dont comment in those sections anymore because it is what it is deal with it or GTFO.

Re: Remove solitude.
It takes 106 hours to siege Britain for example. I doubt it will ever happen. Also shout out for your examples, entertaining

Mate you never know with imps or law it might happen were all evil and twisted inside enough to want to seige britain/moonglow to see what would happen!Jon wrote:It takes 106 hours to siege Britain for example. I doubt it will ever happen. Also shout out for your examples, entertaining
Re: Remove solitude.
when/if imperial or law take all the other towns making only the capital city left, i'm sure they'll think of a way to siege those cities. it would be really really hard, but 106 hours?come on
but i would still love for the possibility to one day see imperial or law be homeless and have to set up a temple in the wilderness or something
