Just here is an idea, for future reference, if you are going to keep the ship master there and sailable, lets have ship masters give you a little rp warning like "Oh I hear Britain is under attack, you might not want to go there" or something, I hadn't finished scanning the forums and went there in search of a mixing bowl for someone from like the cook vendor there cause he said he couldnt find one so in an effort to go above and beyond my counselor duties since I didnt have an answer for him where to exactly get one and this was a counselor page that spawned the question, I offered to check out brit cause he was in new haven...sailed there and needless to say, I dont think I will be making that offer to anyone again......

Ahh just read, the naval blockade, not very effective if it lets in the ship master, sorry being a little facetious here, but perhaps this should have been one of the first things taken care of.

Better yet, maybe install an MOTD package, there are numerous out there that can give people a brief if ooc idea of what is going on like major events, such as whole towns and or cities being off limits to a ridiculous amount of mobs, there are numerous ones out there and would even be willing to look for one for Pangaea, in fact I probably have on on my computer right now from my days of co-running a pol shard.

Seems we do have one, well there is a motd command to bring up the message of the day which has nothing in it, perhaps can we start using this for big game changing events? have it pop up automatically when the motd is changed from the previous one for players when they first log in? I realize this is probably more of an ideas forum post but seriously this, ill refrain from negative word, quest is a perfect example of why you might have such a system used on a shard or any game server, Ultima or otherwise.

Imo this quest sucks. Monsters that drop plague on hit and cast kill with 100% chance, sucks. if the goal was to increase activity.. well.. in the last 5 hours we had 3-5 players online. you could have choosen to do this in another town that not the main town of the game

For plagues blame Tekkys not Dante and sure it sucks. Oracles cast kill and can target you even if you are in house, just run run run if you see them casting kill.

If you ask me if solitude is banned, lets ban plague from Britain also, they are just causing lag.

The don't cause plague on hit, they are immune to poison so Tek are using them as a carrier of the infection so to speak.

Britain looks a tad different!

That's a combination of uncontrolled spawnrates from buggy spawnrunes (my problem) and then a tek plague. They're lal dead now thats what the lag was caused by. There will be keldiens and will be plague ... they're are the perfect carriers for it and it's making the invasion abit more sinister. but nothing in those numbers.
