The power of angry Vendors and Guildmasters who have worked for the month and received no payment is great. I was forcibly "summoned" by all of them today, in the middle of a conversation with my party members. I have to say the meeting was quite unpleasant as I was forced to listen to each one of them of their complaints.
After the "trip" ended I tried to organized what I had heard :
The workers in Trinsic, Yew, Vesper, and Minoc have gone on strike. They have packed their belonging and went home. If the mayors of these town have any questions, you may need to seek higher authority for help.
For the rest of towns, I wish you best luck with a mayor who takes care of the town.

Unfortunately our scout has reported that the workers in New Haven are on strike as well.

Oi, what the blazes is going? Who is responsible for this illegal strike?
I double checked that the city coffers had enough gold to pay the month's expenses and indeed it did.
*An official looking parchment is attached*
All paid up and there's still some gold left in the coffers too. If the vendors think they can take the town's gold and not work, they're WRONG.

I dont know what is happening here.. the town log clearly shows that the vendors in New Haven have been paid from the budget? If they took the money how come they still went on strike?

Hah! Pesky fiddlers and their merry drinkers. Dangle from a noose they will in the good 'ol Serpents Hold. The pirate city is free from your taxation troubles and lazy merchants.
