RunUO Testing Discussions - Combat
Do some weapons suck? Are some of the weapon skills stronger than others? Anything game breaking?

Spear is supposed to be 1 tile ?
There are no 2-tile weapons yet I don't believe (although someone please check). I do intend to re-add the 2-tiles weapons similar as we had on Pangaea.

classes with 85 tactics wont be able to use both of their special moves
Is this a question? As far as I know the special moves are dependant on the weapon skill, not on tactics.
Wasnt a question as its fact. You need tactics and weapon skill on the 90 skill move. At least on moves i tried.
mace fighting will be op in pvp as it drains stamina way faster then any other skill.

When u hut another player with mace it lowers targets stamina more then hitting with kryss. So also other player soon cant move and also he starts to hit you slower as its your remaining stamina what determines your hit speed. And bo it isnt "stamina drain" cause target only loses stamina butbyou dont gain. Afaik!!!. Couldnt test this in test area.(pvp restricking together with hiding disablez)
One thing id like to keep is that u can actually use bow while walking. If u change it like on pangpol it will most likely ruin pvm for bows.

I found bows extremely effective and the Composite bow has a skill that allows for running and shooting.

Moving shot? Ive never ever seen that working. Allways thought it would knock opponent back. Thats why i never used it on osi or anywhere else . Anyway. If that works mounted and running im fine with it. As u can shoot while walking without using mana

I'm really interested to know how people find the weapon abilities. Are they too OP? Do they need tweaking?
I kind of suspect we may need to boost the cost on some of them... but not 100% sure.

Imo they are good as they are. Most of them i find pretty useless. And some are not working. Some weapons have wrong ability so cant use them.
Which abilities aren't working, and which weapons have the wrong abilities?
Most usefull abilities in my opinion are: infectious strike,bleed,armor ignore,double strike.
Least usefull in my opinion is : paralyze,conclusion strike(or dont know how it should work) and then couple others that dont really add anything noticeable to your dmg.
In pvp there is chanve to mortal will be op as it blocks healing for short moment.
