Shard is down

Well, we had a few save corruptions. Luckily it was kinda easy to warp to the hour before.

The thing is the more people are playing bigger the likelihood of someone generating a fatal error.

When we have about 30+ people on it's likely we will have at least one server restart.

Luckily for you I put in the place a measure that makes sure the server is always up, unless a nasty thing has happened like the problem with the world save the other day.

As things are now the likelihood of having a 6 month timewarp should be close to none. It will most likely be of one day maximum.

What has so radically changed though, to cause this? We didn't used to have daily timewarps even if a lot of people were online at the same time.

Demian has a serious and real question, answer plz. Cant blame pol/server here only. What happens if you launch religions? More people will come back to play.

I think its when Demian says " balance " to the banker, the shard gets confused and stops. too many Digits

Some random "epic lagspikes" are taking place, aswell as random DC's (for me atleast)

Anyone else encountering those issues?

There are some seiruous lag spikes now making combat almost impossible.

About lag, Blckfire informed me that he haven't detected any issues with the shard and that if we are getting those lag it might be related to ISP. Please when you feel the lag take a SS of UOtrace tool so that we find out where the problem is. Make a topic for that and post it.
