Re: lag and problems with connection
Sounds like a connection issue to me.
I get that sometimes as well. Usually a reboot of the modem cures it.
Could also be a client issue. As the 2d client isnt exactly known for its stability.

have any done a trace to the server , because i have no problem with the connection, could be the a router some were that have a problem.
if all the things can move ,but you cant then it the connection and not the server that is lagging.

Re: lag and problems with connection
Next time you experience the spikes do the following.
Open a dos promp.
start->run>cmd
Then type: tracert 80.197.136.30
Let it run through. can take a few minutes.
Then post the results here.
example tracert from me to the server
C:\Documents and Settings\Admin>tracert 80.197.136.30
Tracing route to 50C5881E.flatrate.dk [80.197.136.30]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.2.1
2 9 ms 9 ms 10 ms 10.2.143.254
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 * * * Request timed out.
5 9 ms 8 ms 9 ms 10.255.248.194
6 11 ms 8 ms 15 ms signon.stofanet.dk [212.10.10.20]
7 47 ms 7 ms 7 ms gigabit1-0-116.core-ejby-1.core.stofa.net [212.1
0.239.254]
8 12 ms 11 ms 11 ms dk-ejb-sr1-port1-1-6-access.ejby.dk.telia.net [1
94.255.250.141]
9 * * * Request timed out.
10 13 ms 11 ms 10 ms te3-3-10G.alb2nxc7.ip.tele.dk [195.215.109.49]
11 22 ms 21 ms 20 ms 50C5881E.flatrate.dk [80.197.136.30]
Trace complete.
The timeouts arent really relevant as they just indicate a router that doesnt allow pings. However the ms is the interesting part.
From the example here. hop number 7 has a spike. 47ms 7ms 7ms wich indicates an unstable router. It also tell you where the problem is. In this case its my isp´s mainline on Sjælland, Denmark. In this case it was a router that had crashed so they had to route extra traffic through this one. causing a bit of overload.
