Re: Play by old pangaea rules
It would help the economy more robbers = more demand for armor and the likes.
meaningless visual "noise"
auditory hallucinations / sound distortions
altered sense of space and time
fear and/or paranoia
feeling as though one is losing one's mind
feeling as though one is dying

With the old drylooting rules and robbing rules, why not? Once the robber had roleplayed the robbery well, you always had a choice what to do. If you wanted some thrill, you started to run wickedly trying to leave the robbers behind or either if you were afraid and wanted to get away from loosing all your gear you gave them what they asked for.
I'm really up for these rules, it gave you really the right trill. Ofcourse it always went for running away from them or if lucky, looting your own robbers dry.

I wish some how everyone could have the same speed, then I would agree. Plain and simple though running away is unfair in 90% of encounters, the robbers are on 3d and prepared, and usually the hunter is on 2d and not.

Re: Play by old pangaea rules
Well i used to play before, in fact i play in this server since 2000/2001, i've had lots of fun with dry looting etc. Was fun and we allways had that thrill of never knowing when we could find robers! But a robery is never fair to the victim, with realy few exceptions, and at that time we had lots of players online, so was good for the server's economy. But all that changed, now there's almost no one playing, if you get robed, next time you wish to go hunt, you'l go naked and unarmed! That makes you leave the game, and that's not what we want,!!So i'm with staff's decision on tis. No drylooting!
It's hard to get gear anyway, cause we can't find any blacksmith with good ores, and when they have good ores, they are expensive as going to the moon!
