Malediction I hear was nerfed years ago, no more permanent skill loss.

Well it's still better if it's not there for:

1) Malediction would be just useless without that effect
2) You can never be sure, it has sometimes happened GM's give wrong answers
3) Imperial seems to dislike it, Ivan and I (the True Britannians to be) heavily dislike it, and Geryn seems to heavily dislike it too

Imo if it doesn't drop skills then why not use it? Darian for one is an example to what happens when you mess with religions to much. You can't just keep messing with religions. Even when robbers were at full force, Law knew the only real way to stop them was to stone them, drylooting a robber does no good. Some of these harsh punishments should stay. As a sidenote, all malediction can really do to you permanently is change your gender, which is really just kinda' funny, also I didn't mean stoning should still be allowed, just malediction.

From what I know, Absolution removes the gender/chicken effect.
