It's not old, your JUST back is all. Nothing happened then and drylooting won, obviously.

Well we also need poeple that can speak and write english but guess what, we can't have everything we want. However this topic was made to discuss drylooting and let's stick to that, no reason to go off topic for personal attacks, UNLESS your me in which case it's perfectly fine.

The fact of the matter is that drylooting isn't much fun for everyone outside of Tekstone.

As players on the "good side", you're really not suppose to dryloot...at least in RP terms.

Now I played here years ago, and on many shards for 11 years. I'm possibly one of the few active American players here and I can tell you the reason for inactivity. It has more to do with how old UO has become than anything to be honest. UO is known as a retro-game to most in the States, and because of the new and exciting games that are made nearly every day, you won't see a new player base. I'm sure everyone of you knew that already, but mostly people that had fun here will return eventually, I know I have countless times. What I'm really trying to say is that drylooting will not increase the community's activity, that's just flat out incorrect.

They won't get a NEW playerbase either way, this is flat out true. Drylooting will bring more merchants back, guaranteed. Notice I said BACK, no one is claiming to be able to bring new players.

btw im american i win :P

Yeah that's why I said few, I knew you're American. :P

The shard would benefit from more religion RP, I can definitely agree with that. I just can't see people coming back just to make armor and weps for everyone however. I would be happy to be wrong though, always for a more active player base.

i have an idea.
can it be made or not.
if gm's can open malas again and there will be free looting everywhere.
ppls will go there to hunt cos there are many good places...
and felucca can be the place of peace.
ofcorse we can pvp on felucca too, but looting will be not allowed.
Or like someone said that we can make a place to felucca where is looting allowed.

and please no personal attacks about it like Quintoz said... its just a idea!

Re-opening Malas is a no go for me. What comes to looting in general, pass your vote here.

Give me statistic and I'll do the rest.

Problem with that idea is that nobody will ever go to malas..
And by that is the reason no looting is allowed , it allways in the favour of the robber , because when the robber has done it and smell something , then they run and log.

so if the new rules come in place i will have one rule added to all of this, this means that i as admin can hide my self and i chouse at any time to rob a robber and his house , and clean his account for items .

so guess There is no real need to talk about this anymore .

So dont worry it dead for the time beeing.....

Alteran
i agree its always one sided in favor of the robber. not to mention the metagaming and what not they use to find people before running a robber out. anyways i see the topic should be dead as the man has spoken but for some reason they just continue.

Well lets see, Boris actually brought it up, "I wonder why they keep bringing it up."
Ask the GM why we do.
