That argument can be used for whatever nerfing ever. That being said, as I recall it, when monk's profession was made, it was clearly said, that monks were religiously somewhere between knights (max 30 piety) and priests (max 80 piety back then), thus were given max 50 piety.

And not taking into account that the whole piety system is pretty screwed up nowadays, were monks really overpowered with 40 piety?

Elya is right, thats like when Repsak said South Jhelom was supposed to have guards the whole time when reds had been living there since the beginning of Pang.

There's no skill boost coming to monks.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.

ok then
i'm really not being ironic here
i prefer that a staff member says wether there is going to be an adjustment (soon or within months) or there won't be an adjustment
atleast then we know that's it stays as it is and don't need to think how/what to change

The thread was made to support the idea of having no limit on 40 piety spots to monks.

That's something even I agree on, but you're all taking the discussion to three different ways. So instead of talking about skills, new this, new that, more this, less that and so forth - simply say "I agree". Support the original idea and that's enough. There's no need to go apeshit for nothing.
