I find it possible that there may be trouble when someone's calling home and the connection goes kaput because they both share the same line (good service shouldn't result in this, but i can understand both phone and net sharing same cable)
But how can a remote opening the garage interfere with my cable net? that house has problaby all kinds of malfunction :F

Also, it falls whenever someone open's the garage door with the remote :S

Well that sucks.

I literally live in a area that sees the top 5 rainfall in the US every year, only a handful of places like Seattle are worse. So I feel your pain with the internet dropping at random times.

It really kicks ass. I sometimes crash, then i have to wait like 4 minute for it to come back, then when i finally have connection, i just lose it again after like 20 seconds :S so annoying

The reason was supposed to be that my area is somehow not covered with new cables by the companies so they had to downgrade my net back to 4mb when it was 8mb (years ago, now would be even more) but it still crashes all the time with 4mb.

Still, doesn't explain the garage thing lol. It looks witchcraft lol
