Albus continues running.
Barney attacks Albus as he is running, without a word.

Already went through this with you on ICQ for about an hour.
Problem is that if you keep running when robbers come to same screen, they have no possible way of introducing the RP if you choose to run. Only way for them to introduce RP is with macro button which states HALT etc which we aim to deny of usage. In the end, if you're already running from known robbers, for them saying HALT doesn't really make the situation any different now does it?

Whole point of this topic was that you all should start using common sense on these situations and not find the furthest small detail which you could perhaps, at some hypothetical situation understand differently and then swarm GM's like bees demanding for illegal attack when the result of the whole situation would have been the same anyway. If the act of the opposing party doesn't drastically change the direction of the PVP situation, please consider reporting of all small details what could be interpreted differently depending which side of the fence you're on. Because frankly we definitely have better things to do than to babysit you. I know we need more staff and that's what we're doing right now to recruit more, maybe that'll help out the situation. But still, COMMON SENSE. Thank you.

The matter seems merely hypothetical.

The rules do state:

Make sure your victim knows what your intention is...

But ignoring that:

...if the victim decides to run with out saying a word, then the robber will be allowed to kill them.

And loot them?

To avoid these situations, a HALT! or STOP RIGHT THERE! macro should be allowed, but obviously the rest of the situation should be RP'ed. Either that or the robber will have to learn to have the HALT! prepared to just press enter. Not the victim to be forced to stop every time he sees a red (or any other character) on screen. That may be all pretty now, but, hypothetically speaking, imagine when the player base is bigger? Are you going to stop every time you see another character?!



Another thing, .mayday + gump isn't really practical. Is it possible to have .mayday imperial and .mayday law (and maybe even .mayday nature, .mayday tekstone)? Or even possibly .mayday <guild tag/religion tag/religion name>? Or if you're in a religion/guild you can do a .mayday guild and it'll warn your own guild/religion?

all depends on the robber really, i dont mind being robbed by someone like iru because he doesnt kill your steed and res's you after he's finished but some like to play by the butthole rules and so you cant place all robbers in the same boat really

someone stole my keys and i lost 90 gpoison shields and loads of special regs.
not to mention whoever did it had to craft with my hides, logs and glass...

I can't say much more than what we discussed on ICQ. All that Imperial got was looted by me and the keys were in your pack when I left. Only ones left near your corpse were Law members. I don't have pics of the ones that were near your corpse. I asked on the Imperial map repeatedly and the answer was "not me, I didn't loot." Only a few question marks remaining.
