Looting restriction by script
If we were about to let go of all looting rules and let the script handle the looting, e.g. let you loot a certain number of any items from a corpse, how many would be suitable? Take into consideration this would include clothes, armors, potions... everything. One stack would count as one item.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
Re: Looting restriction by script
In my opinion there should be no rule about looting... People should be conscious and just loot what they really need - RP based.
But that is a dream... so i would say 5 items too.

Current rules is no option. Same thing for over 6.

How are the bags handled, if its same as in market i took a bag that had studded armor suit with no problem so bag couts as 1 item? Also can you move stuff on the corpse or is it considered looting aswell?. I assume you can loot all given a permission and while in a party? The party system should be somewhat restriced to allow looting as you could abuse it by robbing your partymember.
Re: Looting restriction by script
No such option for this playerbase. Too many dicks and assholes.

a) Shuffeling items is not looting.
b) Bag full of stuff is not one item.

hmm
considering we can now loot armors (let's say 5 items there) weapons (2 or 3) and jewelry (3 or 4) this gives like 10-12 items. So, for ppl that don't use clothes, allowing 4,5 or even 6 items will make it even better for them. Don't think we want less looting. We want more looting, but not overboard. So let's say 8 items?
Seems to much if it's only indy clothes, but if you have a full indy set, means you are rich enough to buy all that crap, also, you'll be strong in pvp with so many indies. Carry the big guns, afford to lose the big guns.

Re: Looting restriction by script
I don't know if this was taken into consideration or not:
What if there were 6 robbers all in partied up- if the looting script allowed the robber to loot only 5 items, is it only the person who killed the victim gets to loot 5 items or the entire party loots 5 items each (hence 30 items looted from the victim in total)?
