How about, 2(or 10) clothes, 4(or 15) pieces of armor, 1(or 25) weapons and then 3(or 50) of anything that's not considered a cloth, weapon or armor?
The numbers are a mix of something fair and what I want (Just making sure Glar understands me!)

Same thing applies here as to everything else. You get something, you loose something. So if robbers loose gain from robbing, ofcourse it means gain on something else. It could be the destruction of Wrong, perhaps a massive nerf in improsonment or something else.
The reason why the current rules must change is due to magical clothing. The same evolution what already has happened to armor/weapons, must happen to magical clothing.
Edward, I answered to that earlier. Will not be possible.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
Re: Looting restriction by script
I see abuses on this.
Robber 1
Robber 2
Robber 3
Each robber robs 100 items
Robbers give all items to robber 1
Robber 1 dies to law who came to rescue the robbed items
Law can only loot x items
Victim is unhappy, robbers had fun and gained the day.

Re: Looting restriction by script
What about making clothes and skill increasing jewels only items that are not allowed to be looted? sounds fair?
Re: Looting restriction by script
Even if there's only one robber, the system would cause complications. Let's say law would kill the robber right after robbing someone. Thus, law would only be able to retrieve the robbed goods, leaving robber's things untouched. So the robber would basically lose exactly nothing in a situation like that. Unless law decides to screw the poor person who got robbed.Palma wrote:I see abuses on this.

No. The point of all this is making cloths lootable now.Ivan wrote:What about making clothes and skill increasing jewels only items that are not allowed to be looted? sounds fair?
Re: Looting restriction by script
What about vendor newbefie clothes for 200k for a month?
Only clothes that are really expensive worth it and will reduce the money in UO economy which is good for inflation

Re: Looting restriction by script
Jyrgen and Palma raised good arguments against this system which definitely needs to be revised. We'll discuss about those on our forums but meanwhile keep voting.
