IIRC there is no 2x and 4x and 8x et cetera piety timers anymore. Alteran's team removed those IIRC. It is always 1x so you can religionhop with ease. But say, you have 50 in Nature, you will not have 50 in Law if you join, but 10.

Unless everyone is given 50 (max normal) piety. I have no clue what is going on with the "newbies getting insta 50 piety" thingy people talk about. Imperial was given extra piety to make the religion alive, it had so little members in the beginning compared to others. What Kent says about newbish players having max piety is true from what I know anyway.

Because of Tekstone being removed and people getting a free salvation for one character, there was some day, was it 29th of December or January or something, that was the last day for all religions to religionhop without losing piety - this chance was implemented to make everyone equal, so that only Tekstone couldn't religionhop with such ease. This time limit does not necessarily seem to apply to Tekstone though, so they can start playing later and choose a new religion, keeping their piety.

Dalton actually didn't know what most of the Law rites did, not specifically the whole thing. And I have a complete background on my guys and I know why they deserve what they do.

As for the forgetting tome thing, that's hardly conclusive. After being banned for six months, I had to remember what half the rites did.

I don't need to justify reasons for people to get piety, especially when I was asked to not disclose certain people's playing history. But since this is an on-going issue, I will say this:

Due to tenure served on the old shard some time ago, I, and Alteran concluded that piety should be warranted in the interest of fairity.

In most cases, the reason the ones who have max piety in the Order of Law was because I said it was all right for them to have it, or I gave the reasons for the person(s) to get it. For more than a few, the reasons were asked to be kept secret, as far as old character identities and what-not, and I honoured it.

Whether you consider him to be a noob or not is your perogative, but he and I have talked before, and I know what's going on.

I don't judge the fact that they got piety, becouse alot Imp's did aswell.
But yeah only about 10% or less off the server acculy deserves their 50 piety.
