Still Heroes II is the best of heroes serie! Heroes III is also good but it cant be compared to II!

Yep, got both of them installed. Heroes II is awesome, too bad it's far from balanced. That's why heroes III is better, at least in homm3 every race has a equal chance to win.

I'm loving the game

Though I miss the stats and class stuff too. The way it plays now, every race can become anything at all.
Imagine a Breton dual wielder or a wood elf tank

I went with a stereotype though: high elf, destruction / restoration wizard.
I figured that the 50 points of extra magicka is better than all the other race feats.

Next try around I'll go for a Nord tank with heavy armor and a 2 handed weapon or a wood elf ranger, though archery is kinda overpowered if you ask me.

Yeah, the class system is odd.

Currently: Orc with heavy armor and 2 handed + archery (and assisted with Smithing). Very great combination
