Info on Religions?
Hello again.
I've searched around the forum for a few days trying to gather info on the religions of Pangaea. I can only find rules lists for Nature and Imperial and there is hardly any mention of Law. Are there any other religions? And iss there a thread that I'm missing that explains the different religions? I'd like to know the gods/goddesses they follow, their purpose, their alignment, etc.
Thanks!

A bit outdated for Imperial
It should be:
Order of Imperial
Esuna is the name of this orders deity.
The order is located in the Lands of Malas. The capital of the lands of Malas is known as Luna and is where the order maintains a holy temple. The allowed classes are limited and the official order color is purpleish-red (not orange anymore), the Head Priest (Alus Vitellus at the moment) holds the dye tub.
Their purpose in this world: The main goal of Imperial is to gather power, by means of controlling land and wealth as well as followers. Imperial strives to convert the entire world to the "One True Faith". Since society has in general been opposed to unification, they are now striving to create a self-sustained society, which can provide, and fend for itself.
And the common known description: The Followers of this fourth order preach loudly and adamantly against being ruled by a King. Their key goal seems to be spreading the teachings of their goddess. Pious and judgmental, they consider all other religions to be wrong, and thus they do not generally associate with other churches, except in times of dire need. An enigma, this church seems to preach love and tolerance, but will often resorts to violent discrimination against those who do not believe what the church believes, or refuse to aid them in the completion of their objections.
It is trendy for Imperial members to use ancient roman-style titles as well. Some seem to use those, some seem to not.

Re: Info on Religions?
And OOC, my view:
Law = Robber chasers, defensive vs imperial atm mostly, good aligned. Rituals are good for PvP and somewhat good for PvM. There have been tyrant-style Law members but those times are long gone. People despise Law for having too good PvP rituals and ruining the PvP fun with them. Robbers, for example, when there still were robbers, used to fight, but when Law came they just fled and logged off.
Nature = Traditionally tried to be pacifist on other religions, PvM powergamer religion. Rituals are PvM oriented. Only Nature roleplay is protecting animals and acting "pacifist" (Imperials are not to be killed, but for some reason killing praetorians and shaboolis is allowed). Also hunting using tamed animals is "cruelty" but hunting the same wild animals yourself is not "cruelty". People despise Nature for having too good PvM rituals and being wussies and powergamers.
Imperial = The most "evil" one you can be at the moment. Hardest to describe too, and their roleplay has changed drastically with time, you can never know what Imperial does next. Will they start to worship Dennac instead of Esuna or become friendly merchants? Many members are very offensive, murdering also healers & so and occasionally innocents. Some members on the other hand dislike the offensive attitude and do not attend PvP. The rituals suck for PvM and are mediocre for PvP as well. They have an unique merchant bless and were once kind of a merchant guild too, unlike Nature and Law which basically only have fighter and magic user characters. Imperial advantage is having spellcasters able to recall/gate to both Malas and Felucca. People despise Imperial for rabbit out of hat RP and occasional hostile attitude towards people who do not want to participate in wars.

Re: Info on Religions?
Acculy Imperial is more chaotic then they used to be, if you read the stories posted, you can tell that "Alexis" was Marcus right hand women, the one who gave me advice, they released Esuna from her curse and she became purple and more powerfull, they also got lord blackthornes approval to use his armies to conquer and convert Felucca.
Not sure about their futher but their futhur tho.
Also, they are not hostlie, unless you provoke or is in their way being a wise-ass, just stay out off their way and they don't mind you at all.

Imperial is the religion for men. Those who pray without kneeling and fight without mercy.

Been their goal for a long time.they also got lord blackthornes approval to use his armies to conquer and convert Felucca.
Siege of Felucca. Killing healers and bankers. Forcing everyone to "swear allegiance" (turn auto red on Fel) or to be vulnerable to their attacks. "Rogue" Imps attacking Nature are not excommed. And so on. OPEN DENNAC SYMPATHY even =)Also, they are not hostlie, unless you provoke or is in their way being a wise-ass, just stay out off their way and they don't mind you at all.

The Nine Circles of Destruction, by Darian Darkmind and Nefer Daedeloth
Before the first circle, long before the dawn of mankind, there were two Gods. Their names weren't known as they had no need for names. They were known as She and He, the Mother and the Father. Together these two gods were blessed with two children, first Gaea, their beautiful brown-eyed daughter, and later Dennac, their strong son whose eyes were black as the death itself.
As the Father had always wanted a son to take over his powers, to continue the legacy, once He was gone, Dennac was His blessing. The Father taught Dennac to become a powerful god by teaching him about the most precious thing, the glorious art of warfare, which was the most important thing for young Dennac to know. But the Mother, She who would have wanted to keep the family united, believed that peace is the source of all good so She didn't agree with this and they were separated in two different roads, living in two completely different worlds. The Mother looked after Gaea and taught her, just as well as the Father looked after Dennac.
Dennac believed that everything grows and learns from war and suffering, just like his father had taught him. Gaea, instead of believing in war and suffering believed that peace is the key, just like her mother taught her. Dennac and Gaea became the opposites of each other and thus the hatred between these two gods started slowly growing, stronger and stronger all the time.
Long period of time passed and Dennac, who hadn't spoke with his mother or sister in a long time, decided to take Gaea down for good without his father knowing about it. Dennac, whose strength was the growing hunger of power, wanted to get all the power for himself. The Father found out of the attack and tried to stop it, but it was already too late. While attempting to rescue His beloved son, Dennac, he was stuck in the battle and was slain by Gaea. Their mother, who believed in peace and uniting, was shocked of all this and left Gaea and Dennac into their own worlds, into their own luck, soon after He had died. She returned to her own world where she mourned of the Father’s death and where She secretly watched over Gaea without her knowing it.
After the Mother had left Gaea, Gaea started to study her own powers more closely. In the progress Gaea created all kind of creatures, from rats to dragons, but her greatest accomplishment was the human. Dennac had watched his sister’s work and he wanted to have his own creations too. And so he started his experiments as well. Dennac’s creatures were something totally different compared Gaea’s. Dennac, who believed in war, wanted his creatures to be strong, to be able to fight and destroy, to eat whoever comes on their way when they are hungry. He created the creatures that the human later on named daemonic; the daemons, the hell hounds, the imps, the fiends, all kind of black hearted creatures were created by Dennac’s hand.
Dennac's hatred towards Gaea grew even stronger after the Father's death. And as Gaea didn't have her mother to take care of her anymore, Dennac decided to avenge his father's death and attacked Gaea again and again, each time more furiously than before. The time count had begun.
In the first circle of destruction Gaea and her peaceful world didn't even realize what had happened before it was too late, Dennac had corrupted the king of the lands and with his loyal army they brought destruction upon Gaea's sacred creatures. Her pitiful world was destroyed for the first time.
It took many years of hard work for Gaea to rebuild her precious little world again. But destroying it once wasn't enough for Dennac whose thirst for blood had only grown stronger. Dennac launched another attack upon her sister again. This time the attack came straight from his black heart and he annihilated his sister’s world completely. The second circle of destruction had ended.
In the third circle of destruction Dennac had his perhaps the most powerful follower ever, his right hand in Gaea's world, Diriath. Diriath became stronger than anyone mortal had ever been, he was almost comparable to a lesser god and rumours said that his shadow alone was already enough to kill men. He alone fought against Gaea and wounded her badly making her to flee and to regenerate herself. After some years had passed, she returned just to witness that her world was destroyed, once again. Dennac was very pleased to his loyal follower, Diriath, and rewarded him with immortality in Dennac's world where Diriath is still ruling the lands as one of the immortal kings.
After the third circle of destruction had passed, Gaea wanted peace with Dennac and tried to convince his brother to forget about the past. But, it was already too late – or too soon - to beg for Dennac’s forgiveness or mercy. Dennac couldn’t forget his father's death that easily and he completely ignored Gaea and prepared to destroy Gaea’s world for the fourth time. This time Dennac corrupted the virtues of Sosaria and with their immortality the world was destroyed. Ever since that day the virtue shrines had stayed ruined and forgotten, the evil power they beheld was greatly feared. Thousands of years passed and it wasn’t but a few hundred years ago that they were rebuilt.
The war continued, Dennac attacked again and again and nothing was enough for him. Many circles passed like days after days and war continued raging between Dennac and Gaea. All this time the Mother watched. Every time Dennac destroyed Gaea's world, she shared a tear because of the old memories, memories of a united family, memories of the peace and love.
But, everything changed in the ninth circle of Destruction. Nothing would be the same again. A mortal man was born and he was known as Winchester. The prophets said that he was the one who was to end this endless war. He gathered a group of brave men and attacked against Dennac who had just revealed his greatest weapon of all, the Tek-stone which powers were to corrupt the whole Sosaria under his biddings. With sir Winchester’s lead the men rushed to battle but like one can guess, he failed. He was slaughtered by an orc. Their only hope of surviving was gone. He did, however, manage to destroy the Tek-stone but it had already corrupted enough of the men of Sosaria for Dennac to launch an attack against Gaea. This was supposed to lead to Dennac’s victory, Gaea's world's annihilation - yet again - and to the beginning of the tenth circle.
But something that no-one had witnessed before happened: As Winchester fell lifelessly on the ground, he became a powerful spirit. Someone might even call him a god. The Order of Law that was dedicated in serving Winchester was formed to fight against Dennac's followers in the name of Winchester with the king, Lord British, supporting them. These men were to fight in the name of justice and to defend those who needed protection.
With Winchester's help the Order of Law almost succeeded. Followers of Dennac were almost slain to extinction. And many thought that Dennac was beaten for good and peace could finally be reached. But that’s only what happens in the fairy tales. For many years Dennac gathered more loyal followers and the Cult of Tekstone was rising again. A great priest, Borex, known as the right hand of Dennac, had arisen among the cultists to lead the cult against Gaea's world. The people of Britannia felt the sorrow caused by the holy war yet again. The sorrow they thought had ended. But, like the man before Borex, he failed as well. He had underestimated the strength Winchester held. The cult was beaten again by the Order of Law.
For years this continued. The war that was supposed to end didn't end. The Mother had watched over this and had seen everything that had happened. Instead of just continuing watching She decided to take action and to return to her daughter’s world. She thought that it would be time to bring the peace, to stop the madness, and to unite the people, to unite the old family, the family that had been shattered for too long, once again. She was ready to unite and to stop the madness at any way necessary, even by the blood of her own children. She created Esuna and the Order of Imperial was created to help her. Esuna, however, had a different concept of unity and peace. Instead of trying to unite the three old gods, she started to play them against each other, hoping it would weaken them enough for her to take over the empire. The mother realized she had made a mistake and by trying to help Sosaria she made things only worse. She left Sosaria once again and swore to one day bring revenge upon the failure of Esuna. But Esuna didn’t care for such a threat, instead, she forbid people of Sosaria of using her name. She stole the name of her creator and claimed to be Her, the mother of all. With this name she won the hearts of many men to follow her cause, to fight for her. The blinded men of Sosaria were fooled to follow a fraught.
Dennac noticed all this happening around him, he took this as a sign, Imperial fighting against the Order of Law, against Winchester, against the only thing that had prevented Dennac's victory. As Law was weakened more and more it was time to rebuild the scattered guild again, and finally give Gaea what she deserved for the ninth time…
From old "Wikigaea". Tekstone doesn't exist anymore though as a playable religion. GM's sometimes play Tekkie chars for small quests.

Yeah mr.copypaste, I ment about nature and Imp rp, nobody knows what's going to happen, and that story is out of date with recent changes.
