I think the best thing to do is balance around 40 piety, since there will be at most 4 people with 60 and very few with 50. The HP's will always be overpowered, but their piety is necessary for religions to function.

A vacation option immediatly setting piety at 30 and keeping in there for 6 months would be workable for people planning an absence. That shaves a month and a half off the time it takes for them to get back to where they were. A reasonable compromise.

that seems reasonable imo.

the problem with piety is, on the one hand, we don't want demi gods, so it's a good think that priests will most likely be 40 with very very few exceptions. on the other hand, doesn't it make sense that people who have done some massive work to help their religion be stronger due to their god's power?
it's a very delicate subject

Dude thats the reason why if you rp, the HP can send an app to get your 50piety.

50 piety is for those people. The GMs have expressed that 50 will be rare, so rare that it shouldn't unbalance classes overall.

Glarundis with your logic from earlier page 40 piety should basicaly be 30 piety to it be "more balanced"... that is how over powered priest is at the moment.

When priests used mauls they were overpowered. They have been upgraded quite a bit in the past half decade. IMO they're fine.

Mauls blessed over and over and over again where OP. That bug was fixed, so priests with mauls shouldnt be OP anymore!
