can't ask that from archers eh
i am aware that some of the changes fixed something now, but isn't it still unbalanced in terms of killing monsters and the virtue you get from them?

Archer for 100% archery and tactics.
Hear it not my lord, for it is a knell. That summons thee to heaven, or to hell.

what are they doing with 85 poisoning then?Wille wrote:Archer for 100% archery and tactics.
hehe
ontopic, what about my question on my previous post?
Re: New Virtuetitles & Optional reset
Why pick archer over ranger glar? seriously? Lets see, 100tactics, can still get bow blessed... yep reason right there sorry come again. Also higher statcap over the assassin. And I wouldn't say archer is a negaive virtue class at all, as there are greater elemental arrows that have... very few to almost no use as the damage addition is minimal in comparison to poison arrows.
Re: New Virtuetitles & Optional reset
If you mean if hunting virtue is balanced, then yes. Negative and positive setting gain the same amounts.Glarundis wrote:ontopic, what about my question on my previous post?

However, you should add some mechanics to gain positive virtue just as fast as negative virtue. It's just weird to see a person being reskilled and just gaining virtue - just like that.
How about, if a player dies he loses 'a small amount of virtue'
And if he ressourects someone he gains 'a small amount of virtue'
i'm more than sure you can prevent reskillers from gaining/losing free virtue with a death/res time ratio.
Re: New Virtuetitles & Optional reset
As much as I like being glorious (and having 1bill virtue at one point, its down to about 5million just now after reskilling) - yes these definately need reset.
But remove so many things giving negative virtue, not just 'dont use poisoned arrows'
Ofcourse archers are going to be back to high negative in a while if they hunt, killing a giant will lose far more virtue to poisoning it than it will from killing the actual giant.
Also virtue for dieing needs a timer put in, that if youve died within 30 mintues of your last death you won't lose virtue = fix for reskilling.
It took 12hours of reskilling to get my last spiritspeak gain, id be back to dread in notime
When you die - Positive virtue characters lose virtue, Negative virtue characters gain virtue so that when both sides of the line die, they will be nerfed to a shitter title.. if you get what i mean.
Edit - I'd also like to see a more complex system where you would gain different virtue titles depending on what type of monsters you kill, but that would involve putting everything into categories (undead, giants, dragons, orcs/lizards/rats, etc etc)
But maybe that would require way to much work and thought (dont mean anyone being lazy, just that its probably too complicated to the extent its not worth the hassle)

Re: New Virtuetitles & Optional reset
What I would like is that you stop getting virtue from orcs at some point, then stop from low vampires and the likes until you only get some from dragons, giants and other high end monsters.
Re: New Virtuetitles & Optional reset
reminds me... giant is equal to ten orcs in virtue... how about worth of 1000 orcs instead? and rising virtue needed for titles?Hilda wrote:What I would like is that you stop getting virtue from orcs at some point, then stop from low vampires and the likes until you only get some from dragons, giants and other high end monsters.
Lets say glorious would be something nearly unreachable, dread should be also.
