Re: Reduce stone time?
I voted 1 month. It's a punishment and in most cases the robber character isn't the player's main character, it's just something to have fun with, so having it in stone might suck but ain't something you wasn't prepared for, or can't continue playing without. Also one month gives other players a lot of time to hunt and do other stuff. When you get out of stone the market's refilled and you have plenty of riches to rob!!

Players should never have such power.

Looks like someone got stoned with some decent piety...o'well.
Im not sure but. Shouldn't the thieve's usually get jailed for their doings?
Here's a small idea;
Casting stone on a _robber_ will send him to wrong
Casting stone on a non-robber will send him to wrong - case sensitive, has to be roleplayed very well.
BUT
The stone would be there just aslong as the person has left the wrong cell area.
Meaning, if the person who is wronged will have TWO options to be saved out of wrong.
Unstoning the person is the other option.
Unstone
Wrong rescue
Works for both sides (religions on that matter, this kind of stoning should work on religions anyway.)
EDIT; I highly agree on the matter that a player shouldn't of been taken away the ability to play his character.
But making is semi-hard of a task, i dont mind.

Re: Reduce stone time?
it's true that in one month players would be free to hunt. but it's also true that while one of the robbers is stoned, there are 999 other robbers out there. so technically, to make sure there's time away from robbers, the stone should last 1 year to make sure they're all stoned at the same time at one point. i doubt that in the same month you would even stone half of the robbers, so you can't really say "hey pvm'ers will be able to hunt now", because its no true, they'll just be robbed by 9 players instead of 10
i'm not sure what's the max, but i guess 1 month could be ok? but if you are really giving a hard time to people, why shouldn't other ppl give you a hard time aswell? you'll be restricted for 1 month, other players will have to spend 1 month hunting to buy their gear again..i'd rather stay 1 month without playing the char than having to powerhunt just to get my stuff back
