The difference in power, the imbalance, the favoritism, the fact that one class > all others. Without religions all of that is eradicated, I wasn't saying religions are weaker, I was saying they are bullshit, or a better way to word it is have a negative impact on the shard.Monad wrote: Are you saying that religions were worse compared to non-religion peeps back then than they are now? If so, could you explain how.
There would be no bullshit from players whining about things being unfair. It would be a free for all. Druids would be the leaders of the 'nature' of the shard, necromancers of dark and evilness. Every other class would generally be down to the person to decide what way they want to play it.
My views on religion in real life are similar to those of it on pangaea, it was created to control people.
When religion was created thousands of years ago, sin and you we're going to hell or to be stoned to death - it controlled the population and kept order.
On pangaea, break the rules or be an asshole and you risk losing piety/being thrown from the reigion. Or if you chose the 'dark side' on pangaea, you get to be owned so easily by people who are in gear 10x worse than you and don't understand hand to hand combat - thus steering people away from choosing the 'dark side'.
Correct me if i'm wrong here, its all about control right?
