Murderous Brigands Wandering Freely?

I demand to know how Iru Kandji and Krondor Zuula can walk so freely within the streets of Britain, yet so many strong forces fight so hard to do such actions. They're both murderous brigands to Lord Britain, yet... they walk so calmly and free? Is the King's guard sleeping on their job, or has he just given up on protecting his citizens and pulled his men back?

I had just purchased some leather equipment and now it is lost. Left me broke beyond broke. Thanks for taking my underwear Iru and Krondor.


Might I add. All the guards from the west Britain stables to the main Britain Inn have dissapeared!
