Actually the ISP is able to change the routes to a desired destination.
Especially if the routes come from US to EU. They have lots of ways to do so.

Re: Feedback on the Dedicated server tryout
Playing Texas Hold'em with your ISP is firstly free and secondly fun.
1) Ask nicely and explain the situation. If that won't help...
2) "I'm about to upgrade my connection / buy more services, but I have this one problem..."
3) "My friend has no problems and he's using <insert rival company>..."
4) "I had this offer from a <insert rival company> and they promise a better connection to..."
etc. etc.
Whatever bs you can think usually works. You have nothing to loose.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.

Definitely not always.Mike wrote:The packets usually take the quickest possible way no matter what.

Of course they don't when a router is not answering.

Atm, I have a more direct connection to the dedicated server.

I thought that was obvious but I was wrong, a mistake I have made before :)Hilda wrote:Of course they don't when a router is not answering.

In my experience tech support people don't give a fuck about people cancelling their subscriptions, but sales people do everything to make a sale or turn a leaving customer around. If you're looking for a better deal it's a golden tactic. If you're looking for technical solutions and pursue option 2-4, expect to be giggled at around the coffee machine as a self-important sap.Boris wrote:Playing Texas Hold'em with your ISP is firstly free and secondly fun.

Ontario, Canada Report:
I've been a little pre-occupied with all my lumberjacking and curling, eh? So I haven't been able to give er' a full test. I did manage to scrounge up some late night hunting last night when I got home from gathering all them logs tho. Beavers, eh? ... lil' buggers! Don't get me started on them. At least I got curling to ease my mind after work.
Tho after that hunting trip on horseback I will say with all this speed boost, that this dedicated server is a rockin'. I assure you there's "no doot aboot it" in my mind. (For those that have heared me on Vent!)
